Someone wraps their arms around my waist, constricting me like a boa, every passing moment. They give multiple short kisses on my back, kissing my earlobe in the last. It doesn't take long to figure out who'd touch me in that manner. "Ding dong, you can't keep me waiting," he whispers, "it's already too late for you to try and run away." He begins swaying me from side to side. "Ding dong, finally found your heart, dear; now you're it. Ding dong, looks like I have won. Now you're it." Another set of kisses makes their way across my body, and now, this is it. He's won. "Ding dong, pay the consequence. I win." The moment he utters those words, I don't know if I'm afraid, happy, or a mixture of both. "Ding dong, I win. I win.""You win," I repeat. "I love you, Namjoon."
Another set of kisses.
"I love you too. You've fulfilled your promise to me; now you're mine. Mine. Mine. Mine." He echoes.
"Mine."
"Mine."
"Y/n, my love, are you okay? Y/n?" Namjoon shakes my shoulders, and I finally wake up.
"What?" I sleepily mumble, confused.
"Oh, phew. Good, you're awake. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, why?" I ask, confused.
"You were mumbling, and whimpering in your sleep. Did you have a bad dream again?" He asks worriedly, concern in his tone.
"I guess." I lie.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asks softly.
"Even if I wanted to, I don't remember it. Sorry." I lie again.
"That's fine." He replies, rubbing my shoulders. "I just wanted to make sure you were alright."
"Yeah, I'm okay." I flash him a tired, yet totally fake smile, and he seems to buy it.
"Well, good. Since you're awake, then, good morning." He says, kissing the side of my temple. "Besides any bad dreams, sleep okay?"
I nod. "Yeah, pretty fine enough considering. You?"
He smiles. "Pretty good."
I didn't want to keen him into the fact that the reason I slept decently well was that his story put me to sleep last night. What he doesn't know won't kill him. Or enlarge his ego anymore. Now fully awake, I sit up and rub my eyes. "What time is it?"
"Ten twenty-two." He answers, looking at the alarm clock on the nightstand. "Hey, do you wanna use the pool today? Go for a swim after breakfast? I-I know that might be a sore subject for you...but...I don't know. I thought a pool day might be fun." He suggests.
