"Just tell me what to do." "Well, let's go to your room." Hooty wraps around me, to my horror. "Hey! I thought we were past this!" But my struggling doesn't help a bit. Fortunately, he places me on the floor gently. "Now just stay still. Cross your legs and meditate. "Meditate? I don't know if I can. "C'mon! Give it a try. What's the big hoot?" Hate to admit it, but that joke actually makes me smile before I frown in seriousness.

"Ok. It couldn't hurt." I cross my legs and close my eyes. But will anything happen? It better. For a moment I open my eyes, noticing the gem's percentage of darkness has grown larger, to my worry. "Close them.." I follow his orders, while feeling a bit panicky at knowing my gem has gotten a bit more darker.

Seconds become minutes. Not an hour but definitely minutes. How will this help me?

Now twenty minutes have past. Please work...

Everything's just pitch black till I notice something... My hands in front of me in the pitch black. Actually reminds me a lot of that dream I had where I saw that big plant. And that stag. Will it be the same?

As I walk through the black, the sound of a deer in the distance makes itself present, causing me to clench my fists in fear. I know this is some meditation thing, but I wish I had my glyphs with me. But the point is to face this monster, so I must go on. Should I kill it in the meditation? Hope it makes the wendigo go away.

But then I go further, walking slightly faster till it comes in full sight. A large grotesque mess dripping with the black ink which melds with the darkness. Not a staff with me either. But out of the blue, it lunges at me, so I roll to the side on instinct in hopes I'll be able to take this on.

The deer tries to stomp on me with it's back foot, but luckily for me I roll away once again. Then leaping on it's back since I can't let fear hold me back. And so I crawl on it's back, up near it's neck, then standing up to hold onto it's antlers just as it starts to hop around. Can't let go! I'm actually doing this a lot better than I thought.

For a moment, looking down to my chest, seeing the gem is now fully black. But maybe this is part of the meditation... Please be part of the meditation. But just as the deer tires itself, stopping from jumping, I hear that horrific voice again. "Edric! Amity! He's busy!"

Hooty, please don't shout in the middle of this. From this distraction leads me to get thrown off of the wendigo. Just be quiet for once in your life!

"Is it because of the curse! I told him I'm not scared!" Edric's voice... Not as loud but far more distracting. In even more distraction makes it near impossible for me to completely evade the creature which kicks me away with it's back leg as I've rolled behind it. But now it's standing on it's hind legs to stomp down on me with it's front legs, making me immediately open my eyes with a gasp.

"HE NEEDS PEACE AND QUIET!" "Hooty!" The Owl looks back at me, but glancing down to my chest as do I... The sapphire which was just a little dark is now as black as obsidian... But even now as my eyes are open, my vision soon goes black as the gem.

(How is it?)
