Chapter 174: Amity vs Hunter

Luz's P.O.V.

We're all just taken aback by what Amity just said to Hunter. Telling him he was 'The Emperor's bitch' and all. Hunter retaliates by pushing her out of the window, which fortunately has a roof under it for the lower level of the house. And Hunter too gets out of the window just as he grabs his notebook and pencil. Now this is going way too far! What if they kill each other because of some smoke?!

Amity quickly gets off of the roof, accompanied by her goo safely. "Hunter! Just get back here!" Edric yells out but Hunter creates an ice glyph to create that icicle weapon. And he jumps down, plunging the icicle into the earthy floor while clinging onto the weapon so he'd be safe from touching the ground. And so he landed perfectly while unscathed, then letting his feet touch the ground before pulling the icicle out.

Amity casts a purple circle into the air, making goo appear right at Hunter's feet. Abomination slime grabs both of his ankles, binding them together as he's pulled closer as if by a rope, but he slashes through the goo with his weapon, and then quickly getting up with caution. Now he's grabbing a piece of paper as she summons a large abomination figure.

Should I intervene? But they don't even listen in this state. Would it even do any good? And just as the huge monster dashes to Hunter, he completes whatever glyph he was trying to create and it slices through the abomination. A wind glyph. He aims it to the side, severing the figure's head while cutting down the top of a few trees in the process as Amity ducks in case.

Seeing Hunter could cut off Amity's head just by a wind glyph alarms me completely. So I dash to the door leading outside, knowing I have to do something. And in the house, I hear everyone else following from the loud thumps of wood. Willow summons large plants from the ground, restraining the two by their legs and arms so they couldn't move.

Gus shows a sigh of huge relief. "Oh good... We just need to wait for Eda, Raine and what's-her-name to get back." And I nod at what he's saying. "Yeah. But isn't that smoke supposed to show them getting worse as they go on without this cure? But Hunter hasn't turned into the wendigo, so maybe he still has a civil sense in there-" But Hunter cuts me off. "Wendigo? Oh, right! Completely forgot about that!" 

Oh great! Because of my big mouth, we're about to be trampled to death by some seriously pissed off deer! Just as Willow uses more plants to bind them both even more, he has antlers growing from the sides of his head. But that growth stops for a moment as he's coughing. Coughing and coughing while momentarily spitting out a black substance.
