Emery sighs as she stands next to Katherine, her occasional best friend, occasional nemesis. Currently the two were dancing between the lines.

"Can't we just kill them?" She asks referring to the Salvatore brothers who she initially didn't care or think about until Katherine brought them up. She was obsessed with bringing them down, or more specifically Damon, she seemed to be more in love with Stefan than anything else.

"No, that's boring. We have to toy with them for a bit. Drive them a little crazy like you," Katherine says as Emery tucks her hands into her back pockets, as annoyed as ever as she stared at her reflection in the spoon she was using to have breakfast. "Ugh, bite me," she groans before looking up at herself in the mirror that hung on the wall, it was safe to say Emery Horan was obsessed with her own reflection.

"By the way, I may or may not have kissed Damon tonight," Katherine says as Emery faces her, disgust clear on her face. The thought of your occasional best friend kissing your ex would do that to a person.

"Did you tell him that it was you?" She inquires as Katherine shakes her head. "That's literally shady, Kat. It's not a consensual kiss if he kissed you when he thought you were someone else," She explains as Katherine shrugs, Emery seemed to care more what doing what's right than Katherine ever did. "I also cut someone's fingers off tonight, I didn't ask for consent then either," She says as Emery laughs, she could get behind that.

Maiming people was, after all, her favourite pastime.

"Do more of that and less of the other thing," She smiles, much more pleased with the random out burst of violence.

"I saw Elena today," She adds facing Katherine, they were sickenly similar. Even now, as she was looking at Katherine, all she saw was the girl from the mall but Elena was frighteningly human and by the looks of it, very likeable. Everyone who saw her went to talk to her and she didn't turn anyone away, greeting them all with warm smiles and small chit chat. That was the biggest difference between the two women, Elena Gilbert was kind.

"So?" Katherine scoffed slightly at the mention of her look alike and very annoyed with Emery for bringing her up. "She's prettier than you," The blonde teased as Katherine turned to her, eyes bored of the girl's antics to get under her skin which meant they were definitely working. "We look the same, asshole," She commented as Emery shrugged, feeling slightly attacked.

"I think it's because I don't know her. People are prettier when you don't know all the shitty aspects of their personality." Emery played with her fingers, tilting her head to admire Katherine's rotten beauty. "But I have to go, I'm gonna buy some Macdonald's," That was a lie but Katherine was too preoccupied with her own devious plans to smell the deceit.

"This place doesn't have a Macdonald's," Katherine didn't even turn to her as Emery groaned but still making her way to the door, despite the had news. "What the fuck kind of backwards place doesn't have Macdonald's?" She walked out of the small apartment, slamming the door shut and looking for the next best thing after Macdonald's which is sadly a place called The Grill.
