"Did you know that your shitty town doesn't have a Maccies?" Emery asked, standing at the door of the Gilbert house, not walking in as she looks over at Stefan, Damon and the dead ringer for Katherine, Elena Gilbert.

"I knew you were gonna show up. Invite her in, Elena," Stefan looked over at the girl but Damon shakes his head, that was an awful idea. Why was Stefan always coming up with ideas that were going to get him killed?

"She's with Katherine, she can't be trusted," he grabbed Elena's arm, hard, gaining a harsh look from Stefan as the doppelganger pulled herself free of Damon's grasp, now turning her attention to the blonde at the door.

"If Stefan trusts you, you can come in," she spoke carefully and Emery stepped through the entry, smiling a little when Stefan nearly runs her into the ground, in an attempt to hug her. She laughed, resting her head on his shoulder as he whispered something about missing her and she can't help but smile.

"Yay," Damon waved his hands around sarcastically, "The besties are reunited," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm that Elena choose to ignore, watching the blonde wrap an arm around her boyfriend's waist. She was starting to regret letting this girl into her house. The hug doesn't end quickly and when it does, Emery pulled away from Stefan walking up to Damon, a crooked smile on her face.

"I kinda wanna hit you right now," she looked up and he tapped his cheek, jokingly, proud of the five inches of height he seemed to have on her but extremely surprised when she does in fact hit him. She leaned to create more velocity and when she comes back she ends up punching him square in the jaw, making him fall back and nearly trip over Elena's couch and suddenly she didn't regret inviting the woman in as much.

"Bitch," Damon rubbed his jaw with the palm of his hand, the punch sending pain up and down his jaw as Emery smirked before her gaze fell onto Elena. The dark haired girl couldn't help but move back, not out of fear of Emery hurting her but in an attempt to hide how much the blonde hurting Damon amused her.

"Don't worry, she won't hurt you. Elena this is Emery, Damon's ex," Stefan walked up to her as she holds her hand out to Elena, her knuckles slightly bruised under her pale skin. "You look so much like her, it's nauseating," she admitted and Elena took her hand, nodding despite how cold the other girl's hand felt in hers. If Katherine knew where Emery was in this moment, shaking hands with her enemy, she would probably kill Emery but the blonde didn't fear Katherine. Maybe because she was fearless or maybe because she was clueless of the extent of Katherine's wrath.

"What are you doing here?" Elena asked flat out, gaining a laugh from Emery. "Why don't be silly, you know why I'm here. Don't you, Stef?" She turned to Stefan, her hand pulling away from Elena's as their fingers slip away from one another.

"You're here to kill us," Damon looked down at her, she seemed so innocent but that was her trick and he wasn't going to fall for it the way Stefan had. Stefan didn't think she was capable of murder until she nodded her head, a few strands of white hair falling in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I promise it will be slow and painful. You can't just expect me to forgive and forget. Sure, I loved seeing you again, Stefan but when the nostalgia went away, all that was left was rage. You know what you did to me," her voice shook but her eyes remain still. Stefan tried to take her hand, reach for her but suddenly she's at the door. He played a fool's game when he let Elena invite her in and he was starting to realize it too.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you immediately. First I'll kill all your girlfriend's friends and family and then her and then all your friends and when you two are broken and bloody, I will rip your heads off your bodies to put you out of your misery." Emery was a storyteller, as she spoke her hands moved around before they eventually landed at her sides. "Till then, have a nice night," it was as if the three blinked and she was gone, fleeing into the night.

"What the hell did you guys do to her?" Elena asked, looking at the two brothers. They didn't have an answer to that question.

"Leave it alone," Damon spat out the words and heads out of the house in a fit, Stefan following after him, both brothers clearly conflicted after seeing Emery again after all those years but that didn't excuse their silence. "You guys are really just gonna leave me here when two dangerous killers can walk in at any moment?!" Elena called after them but neither of them go back, leaving her standing alone in the middle of her living room.

"I guess I'm on my own," she nodded to herself, shutting the door and heading upstairs, hoping the blonde vampire wouldn't come back to kill her in her sleep.
