The air smelt like food. Of course this being the reason why we were in a cafe. Doof yppah. Backwards being Happy food. How you pronounce it? I really don't know.
I was currently in this cafe with four of my bestfriends. Spencer, Quinn, Winter and West.
We did almost everything together. Even though we met in middle school, we all felt like we've known each other since we were babies.
I guess we all felt this strong connection between us that we just decided to become the best of friends.
For the last ten minutes Quinn has been poking the side of Spencer's face to get a reaction out of him.
Spencer had autism, it's a disorder that basically prevents a person from being able to express any form of emotion or to feel anything about someone.
I guess we were just really lucky he became one of our friends.
"Would you stop that." Spencer had finally said, his face blank and stoic. He had a really nice voice though. He had the kind of voice that angels have when they sing, or the type of voice that would tell you they love you under the night sky, stars shining above the two of u-
Nope. No, its not gonna happen. I interrupted my inner thoughts. What was I even thinking? Those thoughts are not suppose to be even thought about!
"C'mon Spence," Quinn started tiredly throwing her hands into the air. " Just one reaction? Please. You could even just smile right now" Spencer sighed, he was about to reply but was quickly interuppted by Winter.
"Q, you know he can't." Winter said softly, her eyes softening because of her emotionless friend.
"Well, Atleast she's trying something." West backed Quinn up. " Unlike some other people, she's being productive."
I could sense a fight coming between the two and I really didn't want to be a part of it. As seen, West has a crush on Quinn and Quinn witholds and refuses to share any information on who she likes. West and Winter were both twins, non-identical obviously. They were hybrid mixes of a witch and a fae. My favourite thing about them was that they're blue -greenish eyes turned a shade darker when they experience a strong emotion.
It was cute.
Spencer was a hybrid mix of a werewolf and a fae. Quinn is a hybrid mix of fae and a lycan. I was an Angel of life and plus I was a werewolf. My Angel powers went to a certain extent though because I could see deaths that would happen but never see who died. I think most probably is because i dont really pay much attention to the details.
"Orabella?" Spencer asked snapping his fingers infront of my face.
"Hm?" I really needed to stop zoning out because it was getting to me now.
"Quinn said she was going to get something from the vending machine outside because something she wasnt in this cafe. So do you want something?" He asked.
"No. No. Thanks, it's nice of you to ask me though. I appreciate it." I told him, not really thinking much about it. Spencer nodded his head but I swear a small blush tinted his cheeks at that moment. It was gone before i celebrated how he had shown some reaction.
I was hit by a very painful headache that felt like a thousand bricks were thrown onto my head. I touched the side of my head and hissed.
"I-I'll be going to the toilet." I told the group after standing up abruptly.
"Okay."
"Make sure to wash your hands."
"Are you okay?"
"I'll check on you after ten minutes." They all said at the same time. By now, I got used to it. I quickly ran into the bathroom and towards to taps. This normally happens when someone is about to die.
