Chapter 22: On the way to the battle

Y/N's P.O.V.,

We finally arrived in Narukami Island.

"Well, I guess that was a little nervous moment, haha," Thoma said. "Can be, hehe. Oh yes, Traveler and Paimon, I and Thoma have other commissions to do with Yashiro Commission, alright? But, if you want to follow me it's just fine. No worries about your welcome." Ayaka told.

"Umm...Paimon just can follow Y/N. Y/N, what's your answer?" Paimon asked me. 

I'm staring at Ayaka, Thoma, also Paimon. It seems I want to get a rest first. It's tiring before I went to Seirai Island. Plus...fighting her it's not that easy, so I need to lay down a while (for a long time).

"I'm sorry, Ayaka and Thoma. I can't join you both. You know why, right? I have fought with Shogun then she pulled me to the Seirai Island, how can that sound not tiring, right?" I answered. "Ah yes, I forgot about that, sorry. It's fine, Y/N. Take your time to get a rest but I recommend you to get a long rest. This day...full of disaster for you." Ayaka said as always with her bright smile.

"Yep! Go have a good rest, Y/N, and you too, Paimon. You already did all the missions everywhere, so you should get asleep." Thoma said. Wait...how the hell he can know about I and Paimon has a lot of missions?

"Alright then! Goodbye, you 2! Always stay healthy!" Paimon said. "Sure, you too. Goodbye, Traveler and Paimon." Ayaka replied then she with Thoma walked away from us to do their Yashiro Commission.

I look at Paimon then she replied my look...with a confusion of course. "What?" she asked. "Umm...maybe you already told everything about us to Thoma?" I asked. "Ooh...umm...is that a problem?" Paimon replied nervously. "As far as I can see his behavior and he is a collab with Ayaka, I just wish there is no strange thing on him, "I answered.

"Wait...what?! You don't know yet about him? But you are the one who met him first, right?" Paimon said. I sigh..."Well yeah, but he just appeared like that and he's already been arrested by Shogun. So of course...there is no chit-chat, Paimon." I explained.

"Ah...now I get it. Ok...so...are we gonna go home or just standing here until night comes?" Paimon inquired with her lazy face (seems that she's already sleepy). "*Chuckled*, you such a huge idiot. Let's go home now." I said then she follows me as usual.

In our rented house,

"Aaaaahh! Sleep agaaaain!" Paimon said then without any words she just go to her bed. "Ey! Wait! There is something I want you to tell!" I said. "Ugh! What now? Tell what too?" Paimon asked lazily. "Haha, I know you tired or lazy or some shit but just for a while...ok? Can you tell me about Thoma? Cause in the middle we in the boat before...he just chatter." I said.

"Why have to be now? I can share his history later after a break, right?" Paimon said. I'm just laughing at her. "If you tell me now, I'll give you Dango then. Hehe, what do you say, voracious fairy?"I said. "Huh?! Dango you say? Hehe, you know Paimon's fav, eh? Ok then! But you promise, right?" Paimon makes sure. "Come on, I'm not lying," I said. "Alright! Let me tell you about him then!" Paimon said.

Later,

"Hmm...so he was born in Mondstadt. You're right, we have never seen him before. His job is household? Such as like housewife. *Laugh*!" I laughed. "From his style looks like Kaeya or Tartaglia, but from his job...*hold laugh*..." "Hi, Paimon also can't believe that too! *Lot of laughs* (LOL)!"

We are laughing as much as possible as we can. My confusion and my disappointment about Ei before suddenly disappeared. Laughing and joy make us forget about our sadness earlier. 

"Well...where's the Dango then?" Paimon asked. "Dango...uh, wait! I'll buy it for you!" I said. "Many, ok? MANY!" Paimon said. "Yeah, yeah. My Mora is safe, don't worry. You stay here, ok?" I said. "Yes, sir!" she replied then I go buy Dango as many as I can.
