Chapter 8

Very short chapter...

~Troye's POV~
The laughter behind me echoed through the dark room, making me shiver. I was about to turn around to see who was the wicked monster doing all of this to us, when the door slammed shut, followed by more laughter. We all huddled close in the middle of the cold room. I could hear Louise somewhere to the left of me and Connor whimpering on the right.

"Guys, be quiet for a sec! I can hear something!" Marcus whispered, stopping every noise in the group. There was a faint whooshing sound heard from all around us.

"There's gas escaping from under the doors!" Caspar screamed. "We're all going to die!" Tears were cascading down his face, as he ran around the room, flailing his arms around. Joe stepped forward and grabbed Caspar's arm to stop him from making another step.

"Please calm down Caspar!" Joe was crying too and as I looked around at the others next to me, I could see they were crying too, holding onto each other. The gray-ish smoke was rising and coming closer to us.

"We're going to be fine, it's going to be alright.." Phil said holding on to Louise tightly. "It's going to be OK." Sobs shaking his body. I could already smell the smoke as i breathed in, when Louis suddenly started slipping to the floor and as he hit it, a chuckle was heard from across the room.

It was harder to see through the smoke as it got thicker, making me dizzy with each breath I took. Figures falling to the floor one by one. Black spots dancing in front of my vision as my legs gave out beneath me. I lifted my head one last time to see an outline of a figure approaching me through the smoke, laughing the wicked laugh I have already heard a hundred times since entering this cursed house.

"Fuck you..." I whispered before my head fell to the cold tiled floor.

Omg I'm so sorry for not updating since December...I'm really busy with school and other stuff. I really wanted to update something so I made this quick short chapter for you guys

I don't when I'll be updating next time, but I'll try as soon as I can...
