Twitter was pure chaos for the whole day after my company released their statement. Me and Luka, our ship name Luyin, our companies, Mikaela, Kimberly and Up to Hell all took over the trending list, remaining up there for the entirety of the day.

I was starting to get tired of this. Maybe I should have taken a break and gone back to visit my friends and family in Australia while the guys were enlisting. Or maybe even gone back to Taiwan to visit my grandparents—it had been a while since I had seen them. Although, I wouldn't have met Luka then and the thought of that made all of this drama a little more worthwhile.

Moonlit Prophecy star Luka Plevnik has finally ended his silence on the recent scandal surrounding him and fellow Up to Hell costar, Yin who is also a member of popular kpop group Hab2t.

A rep from his agency denied the rumours that Luka and Yin are dating. However, that isn't the interesting part.

There have been longstanding rumours surrounding the actor's sexuality and the statement released by Yin's agency yesterday appeared to confirm that Luka is indeed queer. However, the rep denied such claims. In fact, he denied that any such confession even happened and wanted to remind fans that Luka is still dating singer Kimberly Earving.

According to Luka's side of the story, the two men had been extremely drunk. The kiss had occurred as the result of a dare from another cast member. There had been no other meaning nor intentions behind it.

The denial comes as a complete surprise to fans as the statement previously released by Yin's agency had explained an entirely different story. So who's telling the truth and what really happened between the two stars?

"We're flying back to New York tomorrow for promotions." Minki informed me over the phone.

"You mean the company actually agreed for Luka and I to be seen in the same location?" I asked incredulously.

"Well, no. Luka's company doesn't want it happening either. However, they can't do anything about it because it would be a breach of our contract with Netflix." Minki explained.

"I find it hard to believe that ModStar would just let this happen because they don't want to breach a contract. Hasn't stopped them before." I rolled my eyes even though Minki couldn't see me.

"Surprisingly, ModStar isn't doing anything but that might be because Luka's company is. Kimberly Earving will be attending all of Luka's promotion schedules with him. Paparazzi have been informed so they can attend and take photos of the two. You need to be careful as well. The paparazzi may be there for Luka and Kimberly but I have no doubts they will be watching you as well."

"Sounds just peachy." I said sarcastically.

"Now this is the final question. Luka and Yin, the fans are dying to know. What is the actual explanation behind the photo where you two were seen kissing?" The interviewer asked, obnoxiously leaning forward like this was the hottest tea she was ever going to hear in her life. The cast members, Luka and I included, internally groaned. We had been warned that such questions would come up.

"Well, our representatives have released statements about this matter already..." I started, trying to be as polite as I could.

"Sorry, can I just say something." Luka interrupted.

"Yin is an idol and I know he can't say this kind of stuff so I'm going to say it. Some of you might think I'm being rude but honestly, this invasion of my privacy is extremely disrespectful. The photo was posted by Mikaela when she was unaware of what she was revealing in the background. She has since removed it and those of you who continue to send her hate or spread the photo around need to stop. The constant pestering for explanations when statements have already been released needs to stop. Honestly, why does it matter so much whatever relationship Yin and I have. Why does my sexuality have to matter so much? Some of you might be thinking well I signed away my privacy when I signed the contract and became an actor. No, I didn't. I signed a contract to do my job. My job is to bring characters to life on the screen. Those characters should be your source of entertainment, not my private life." Luka took a deep breath when he finished his long speech.

Everyone just sat in silence for a solid minute, taking in his words.

"I believe this interview is over." Luka said after a long moment of silence. He stood up to leave as the producer signalled to cut the cameras.

I remained in my seat, watching as Luka approached Kimberly who had been watching the interview from behind the cameras. My heart twisted in my chest. I had come to a realisation during Luka's speech.

I liked Luka. I, Alecson Wei-Yin Hsiao had a very big crush on Stanislav Lukasha Plevnik. Oh yeah and tiktok was right. I guess I wasn't so straight after all.

Author's Note:

This is a much shorter chapter than usual. It's about 200 words shorter, but it felt like a good place to end the chapter. Lowkey messes with the perfectionist in me but meh. I have half a mind to make this author's note extremely long just to have the satisfaction of seeing the 1000 word count.
