11. The Power of Manipulation

In a never before seen series of events, Actor Luka Plevnik and Kpop star Han Sena have officially confirmed that they are dating. 

Luka Plevnik is known to prefer keeping his life private, but it appears this time the star wants to show off his new sweetheart. Shortly after his and Sena's company released similar statements confirming their dating news, Luka posted an adorable photo of the two on his Instagram account, captioned, "the heart knows when the search is over". The two are believed to have met through mutual friend, Yin of kpop group Hab2t.

This is the first time the star has ever acknowledged and/or confirmed his dating news. The difference in Luka's attitude this time and the caption has suggested to fans that he is very sure of his relationship this time.

His dating news wasn't the only thing the star dropped on fans today. Various photos released yesterday accompanied with anonymous sources from within Sena's company reported seeing Luka interacting with a certain very familiar male. 

After the success of their gay film Hurt by Love, Luka's costar Jason Shin was thought to have retired from the entertainment industry, preferring a normal lifestyle. However, it appears he is still somewhat involved in the industry as Jason was spotted at a cafe located within Sena's company, Intine Entertainment, yesterday talking with Luka.

There has been suspicions that the two costars had dated for a period of time during and after the filming and release period of their movie, leading to confusion over why Luka was talking with Jason when he was at his girlfriend's company, likely to see her. An anonymous source who was sitting near the two men stated that they appeared very close.

I threw my phone to the side when Luka didn't reply straight away and turned to the twitter page which I had open on my laptop. 

Luka's fans had never reacted well to all his previous dating scandals, but the reactions this time around were not that bad. I assumed it was because this was the first time he was personally confirming it.

"aint no fucken way hes really dating that asian chick"

"the only idol we accept for luka is yin"

"so whos gonna tell her..."

"how is noone talking bout the fact that luka and jason were seen together for the first time in like 10 years"

"already counting down the days till the breakup"

"not luka going to meet his gf but somehow ending up at a cafe with his ex instead"

"shit guys i think its real this time"

"lukas past 24 gfs crying in the corner rn"

"nah this def fake apparently the girl dont even know english how tf they dating when they cant even communicate"

"here we go again"

"luka serving us everything but a new movie"

"nah they kinda cute together tho"

That last tweet triggered my annoyance so much that I had to stop scrolling through. I decided to take a nap instead. Maybe when I wake up, this whole thing would be over with.

I was woken up by the sound of my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I picked up.

"It's just media play again." Luka got straight to the point. "Sorry I couldn't warn you. It was really busy. We had to stay up late all of yesterday and the day before making preparations to make sure the story was completely foolproof." He explained.

Maybe it was because the tweets I had seen had gotten to me but I found myself  getting annoyed and it came through in my tone when I replied. "Media play with my best friend? Seriously? It feels like you just used me to get to her and now you're using her as well."

"What are you talking about Alecson. It has nothing to do with you. Your name wasn't even mentioned in the meeting. This was a decision both Sena and I made along with our companies because we figured it would benefit us both. Nobody is using anybody here Alecson." 

Luka was starting to sound angry although I saw no reason why. He didn't have a right to be annoyed about this. I was the one who had to find out my boyfriend was going around dating my best friend and meeting up with his ex through his fans and the media.

"My name was mentioned in the article which means it much have been mentioned somewhere in the meeting. Or are you saying the media just threw that in because my name is oh so relevant to your stupid relationship?" I was really angry now. "And that's not all. Why the fuck were you drinking coffee with Jason Shin at a cafe?"

"He's one of my best friends. Should I not be going for a drink with my friends either now?" Luka sarcastically asked.

"He's also your ex apparently."

"Our relationship ended years ago. We're just good friends now." So the fans' speculations were correct after all. They really had dated. The newfound information only increased my anger.

"Nobody is just friends with their ex Luka."

"Well clearly you need better exs."

"Yeah maybe I do. How about you become my new ex and we'll see if you're a better one or not?" There was a pause on the other side of the line. Shit. I hadn't meant to say that. I didn't want to break up, but I had too much pride to take my words back now.

"What?" Luka asked, his anger seemingly dissipated.

"Let's take a break Luka. I need time to process everything that happened today. I need time to figure out if I can deal with this." Please don't agree. Please say no.

"Is that what you want?"

"Yes." No.

"Okay, let's take a break." He sounded worn out.

"Bye Luka." Please don't hang up.

"Goodbye Yin." He hung up.

To ModStar Manager Minki: how many schedules do i have in the next month?

From ModStar Manager Minki: two but the remaining time is going to be filled with subunit stuff if it goes ahead
