9. Shock After Surprise

"Come on." I urged, pulling Luka through the hallways of my company.

"You brought me to your company in the middle of the night for a date?" He asked incredulously.

"We won't get spotted this way." I explained as I pushed open the doors to the dance studio.

"What are we doing in a dance studio?" Luka asked as he looked around.

"I'm going to teach you to dance!" I exclaimed.

"No way." Luka turned to walk out but I pulled him back.

"Come onn. Pleasee? For me." I tried giving him my cutest pout. He sighed before reluctantly walking back inside the studio. Success!

"Okay try what I just showed you." We had been in the dance studio for about two hours and I had come to realise that Luka had some talent when it came to dancing. He had managed all of the easier dances that I had taught him and now we were moving to the harder dances.

"So it was step back, spin and—" Luka's sentence was cut short as he tripped on his feet during the spin and fell.

"Shit, are you okay?" I asked, trying to hide my amusement.

"I'm fine. Just tired." He replied. "Sit down with me. Take a break. How are you still full of energy?"

"Our dance practices used to go on for hours. I guess I got used to it." I shrugged, lying down on the floor and putting my head in Luka's lap. His hands started stroking my hair. It felt nice. We spent the rest of the night in the studio, just talking about anything and everything.

"We have some very special guests here with us today." Ilsong, one of the hosts of the variety show I was guesting on said.

"Some? I thought I was the only one." I asked him in surprise.

"Well, this was meant to be a surprise for you." Ilsong said, winking at me. At that moment, Luka and Mikaela appeared from where they had been waiting behind the filming crew. Luka winked when he caught my eye.

"Luka! Mikaela!" I laughed happily. I guess the show had invited them after the success of our Netflix show.

"There's also one more guest who is here to fill in for Ae-young who is away on tour with her group for the next while." Ilsong continued.

"Hello everyone!" I turned at the familiar voice—it was Sena. The show's ratings for this episode were definitely going to be sky high.

We were playing games in pairs. The cast members paired up with their usual assigned partners, leaving the four of us wondering how to sort ourselves out.

"It might be a little difficult with the language barrier so how about we change the assigned pairings up for this week and have Luka pair up with Eli." The producer suggested. Eli was British-Korean so he was fluent in English.

"Actually, I can speak Korean." Luka said suddenly, in fluent Korean. I stared at him in shock. Why was I not aware of this information? He sounded hot speaking in a different language.

"You can?" I and about three other people asked in amazement.

"Yeah, I studied at an international school in Korea for a while when I was younger." Luka explained.

"Okay, that's great then. Luka and Sena can pair up and then Yin and Mikaela." The producer said.

Filming for the show had taken up nearly the entire day and I was exhausted, but I still had somewhere I needed to be afterwards. Unfortunately that meant I only had a rushed five minutes to talk to Luka before I was rushed away by Minki.
