Y/n woke up in the void. The void that he had his first encounter with Chara and Gaster in.

Y/n: huh? What am I doing in here? Is Gaster trying to visit me?

???: Nah, it's just me.

Y/n looked in the direction of the voice and found...sans?!

This sans seemed different. He was smaller and had a giant paintbrush along with different clothes and strange eyes.

Y/n: sans?! What happened to you and why are you here?!

???: oh, actually I'm ink. Ink sans. But just refer to me as ink. As for why I'm here, I've been wanting to visit you for some time now.

Y/n: what, why?

Ink sans: because out of all the different timelines, this one is the only one with you in it! I'm pretty interested in you. You've been through a lot and you've also become a bit of a hero in this timeline.

Y/n: now that I think about it, sans did mention something about multiple timelines when Chara fought him...

Ink sans: do you wanna see them? I can show some of these timelines! I won't be able to accompany you but, I promise that you won't die or anything like that.

Y/n:...eh, what the hell. I'm pretty bored anyway.

Ink sans: ok then! Here goes!

Ink sans then took out his paintbrush and used it to splatter some red paint on the ground.

Ink sans: this is the first one. Just jump on the paint and you'll be transported to the timeline.

Y/n: uh, ok.

Y/n went over to the paint and jumped on it...and found himself sinking in it.

Y/n: WOOOOOOAH!!!!

Y/n suddenly found himself in some snow. He looked around and realized...that this was snowdin. Although, the sky was red and the atmosphere of the place felt hostile.

Y/n: "okay...this all feels wrong but I guess I should expect that..."

Y/n walked around the place for a bit, not exactly expecting to find anything. Then smoke surrounded him. He looked to see the source of the smoke was coming from behind him. It was...sans with a cigarette.
