Chapter 1

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣

In a house in a average town lived Hayden Brown, he was 16 and had a father and a mother as well as a younger sister.

Hayden woke up to his alarm clock and sighed. He got up and got dressed for school in a grey hoodie and blue jeans as well as pair of black socks.

After he got dressed he went to he bathroom and brushed his blonde hair out of his blue eyes and brushed his teeth.

He left his bathroom and went to the kitchen where his mom was making eggs and toast while his sister Morgan was texting her friends.

Hayden finished eating and went to go get his shoes and bag. Hayden put on his shoes and then opened the door then walk out.

Then he closed the door behind him without saying goodbye to his mom.

He walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus as he always did. After a few minutes of waiting the bus finally came and he got on.

Hayden sat quietly as the bus moved to one stop after another,after another until he finally got to school.

He went to his locker to put away some of his books and his backpack.

As Hayden walked to his history class he saw a new kid that looked like he was from some rich family or just had a decent amount of money. Hayden's family never had a lot but they got by with what they had and were able to live and survive because if it.

Hayden sat down in his seat and started to get ready for 1st period.

Elijah came up to Hayden and started talking to him. Hayden was surprised, most people don't talk to him. He is always by himself, no one likes him or wants to be friends with him. Yet this boy all by himself started talking to him and asking about Hayden and how he was.

What Hayden didn't realize is that this would change his life and make him regret ever talking to Elijah Parker.

𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙥(𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨)

Hayden was still talking to Elijah as they left history class.

This was the first time someone has actually talked to Hayden without involving school projects or groups.

𝙄𝙩 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙚.

Hayden wasn't antisocial just didn't like talking to people.

He wasn't you average 16 year old, they usually are texting friends, hanging out at places but not Hayden

Hayden was stuck in his thoughts until he heard Elijah say "Yo dude what is your next class"

Hayden thought for a second and said "oh it is Science with Mr Lopez. What about you?"

Elijah replied with "I have Ela with Mrs Parks. We should meet up at lunch."

Hayden heard the words "We should meet at lunch" and immediately said yes he has never had someone ask him that so he felt very happy and thought "This is the greatest day of my life!"

Elijah said okay and went to his Ela.

As Hayden was walking to his next class he 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜.

He felt to so happy and excited.

As he sat down for class he just realized he never got Elijah's name and Elijah never got his to each other they were 𝙪𝙣𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣.

𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 (𝙃𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙚𝙣) - 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧

As I walk to my next class I can't stop thinking about that boy I met in first period he said he wanted to eat lunch with 𝙢𝙚.

I have never had anyone ask me that.

It made me feel very happy? Is that the word?

As I see the cafeteria I walk in and find my usual table. I went to the line with the least amount of people to get my food.

I picked up an salad as well as a milk with some fruit.

I was walking to my table until I heard a voice behind me say "Yo dude there you are!".

I turned around surprised wondering "who called for me?"

As I turned around the boy in front of me was the kid I was just thinking about.

He said "Yo I never got your name can you tell me or not?"

Thinking quickly I said my name "Hayden. Hayden is my name."

The boy in front of me then said "Cool. My name is Elijah, want to be friends?"

I didn't even think for a second and said "yes of course!"

"Okay then I'll see you later Hayden." Elijah said as he walked away.

I was seriously about to scream! I have never had a friend before!

I will make sure to be the greatest friend Elijah has ever had!
