The police was asking everyone the same questions but Hayden was already so tired with the questions that they were asking.
All of the questions were just basic and everyone knew the answers and this wasn't helping with the problem at hand.
How the hell was the police supposed to figure out how and why those people that attacked Hayden and the rest of them if the people barely said anything.
The police finally decided they had enough information and left, which was strange because why would police just leave like that?
Couldn't they look more into what just happened to everyone?
Everyone was still in shock from what happened, and Hayden was still wondering why them.
Out of everyone in the town they went after high schoolers who were just trying to go to school.
𝙄𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙣𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚.
Who in their right mind would go after a High School bus at 8:00 in the morning and just look for the kids names they wanted.
It's almost like the leader of whoever came after them was Hayden's age.
Was it someone that is his age?
𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙚.
Though it could not be and it's just someone who has poor skills in paying attention.
But who would do all of this over hearing something wrong?
What if someone was targeting someone on the bus specifically?
𝙒𝙝𝙤 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙨.
Hayden decided to just forget what happened today and go home.
Little did he know this was only the beginning of a very long and dangerous year.
They are all just jokes, right?
Hayden was waiting for his parents to pick him up when he got a text from Elijah that said "Hey, I heard about what happened, are you okay?"
Hayden felt warm inside from Elijahs words, he liked being cared about.
Hayden replied with "Yeah, I wasn't hurt so"
For some reason waiting for the text back was making him feel nervous and his heart beat fast.
Is that normal? Probably not.
Did he care? Nope.
Finally Elijah replied with "That's good, I'll speak to you tomorrow"
"Alright." Hayden replied as he felt calm.
Hayden put down his phone and fell on his bed as he sighed.
For some reason he felt like a teenage girl who just started liking someone.
He wanted to scream in his pillow and text someone about what just happened.
Sadly he didn't have someone to text about this.
Maybe he can ask Rose for her number the text time he sees her.
Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
Hayden decided to look up how he felt when Elijah was texting him.
He was shocked.
There was no way he was gay.
At least that is what he thought.
