His Shadow

Chapter 2

𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣:

As Hayden was thinking of ways to be the greatest friend Elijah has ever had,
something sinister was happening on the other side of the school.

Elijah was talking to some popular kids until one asked "Why did you talk to that freak Hayden and say you were his friend?"

Elijah replied by smiling "I just need to gain his trust so that way he will do anything I say." Elijah was going to make sure Hayden was like a 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Elijah was going to make sure he was gonna make Hayden wish he never said yes to him.

𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙃𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙚𝙣

Hayden was going to his locker to get his books for his next class when he saw that kids were whispering and doing weird hand gesters.

Hayden was confused. He didn't understand why kids were acting like someone just died.

Little did Hayden know they were talking about 𝙝𝙞𝙢.

Hayden was a little weirded out, he didn't like all the chatter and noises.

Hayden started walking to his next class but he saw Elijah and went up to him.

Hayden started asking stuff like "Hey how are you? " "How was your lunch? " "Did you make any new friends?"

Elijah replied to all those questions with things like "Good." And "Yeah sorta."

Hayden was happy he was making friends and had a good first part of his day. He just wished that he would be able to talk more normally with him.

Hayden said goodbye to Elijah and walked to his next class, little did he know that this would cause more rumors.

Hayden went into his next class and sat down in his seat. He made sure he had everything he needed before class actually started.

Hayden heard people saying "I can't believe he actually talked to that guy!" "I know right it is so hard to believe!" "Oh well not any of my business."

That was few of many things he heard.

Class was starting and Hayden was ready for today because they were doing a test in his class.

𝙊𝙝 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙨.

Weird? Yes. But he enjoyed it.

He loved taking tests it made him feel good inside. He liked how the questions were easy to him. He loved how he could solve them in around 2 minutes each.

He was a pretty weird kid. He wasn't in any advanced classes but he could easily be in them. But he was happy where he was.

He didn't have to change to all advance classes just because he was smart. He could be in regular classes and be the smartest in that class.

But he didn't like the praise. "The person who got the highest score was... Hayden Brown!" He didn't like that.

It 𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 him.

𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 2 𝙥𝙢

Hayden was getting ready for school to be over so he could leave and go home.

𝙊𝙝 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙙.

Hayden was getting the rest of his books out of his locker when he saw Elijah coming toward him.

Elijah had started talking to him and said "I'll see you later Hayden I have to do something"

" Okay, have a great time whatever your doing!"

Hayden starts to walk to the bus stop.

He sees his bus and gets on.

He walks to the back of the bus and sits down. He gets his phone out and starts playing a game.

As all the other students got on he was just sitting in his seat minding his business until he saw a girl about 5'2 sit down across from him.

Hayden had seen her before. She was in his math class.

She had 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 unlike himself.

She had dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

Hayden was about to move to another seat until she said "Hey your Hayden right?"

He was confused. He thought "Why was she talking to me?"

Hayden got out of his thoughts and said "Yeah my name is Hayden you?"

"I'm Rose nice to meet you" She said as she smiled.

Hayden replied by saying "Nice to meet you Rose. How can I help you? "

"What do you mean by that Hayden? I just wanted to talk to you." Rose said with a Serious tone.

"Oh. Usually people don't talk to me unless they need something, sorry I assumed you needed something." Hayden said as he looked at his feet

Rose looked surprised as he said that. She seemed sad and shocked at what he said.

"People shouldn't treat you like that! You need actual friends that will be there for you!" Rose had said as if it was the most important thing in the world.

"Oh." Hayden said as she was still going on about the topic.

He looked out the window and saw his street, he looked at Rose and said "this is my stop so I should probably go. I'll talk to you tomorrow I guess."

"Okay!" Rose said excited

Hayden had thought this is gonna be a long year.

2 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧.

Hayden was in his room playing on his phone when he got a text from someone.

"Who the hell is texting me?" He had thought as he clicked the message

"Yo Hayden this is Elijah. I just wanted to text you to let you know I'm busy after school tomorrow so we have to talk another day."

Hayden replied by saying "okay." And went back to playing on his phone.

As he was playing his game he had wondered why so many people were talking to him.

Most people ignored him or gave him weird looks but these people were actually talking to him.

This was 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚.

He found it strange but wasn't going to question it.

He was about to go down stairs until he got another text from someone random saying "Good luck. Your going to need it" Hayden was confused and replied by saying "Wtf do you mean.

"You'll see."

Sorry this wasn't uploaded earlier I wasn't doing to good and wasn't up to do anything else besides watching TV and being on discord.
I'll make sure to get the next chapter as soon as I can.
