Sage's POV

'Senior year is kicking my ass!' Kayla groans, slamming her books down on the table in the canteen.

'It's only been 4 hours.' Theia says, munching through her enchilada.

'I know, but if today is like this, then God help us the rest of the year. Look at my timetable for Mondays: Double math, double chemistry and double gym.' She groans.

'Well we all know gym is your favourite subject.' I snigger. 'How you got an A grade, we'll never know.'

'Don't be a hater.' Kayla blows a kiss. 'Speaking of chemistry, who is this you're eyeing up Theia?' Kayla raises her brow.

Theia and some girl have been eye fucking from across the canteen for the past ten minutes and thinks we haven't noticed.

'My crush of the day.' She shrugs, eating her enchilada.

'Perv.' I murmur.

Kerrys has been sat looking all forlorn. She hasn't said a word since we sat down.

'Ker, estas bien? You seem a little... off today.' I touch her shoulder, asking her out of Theia and Kayla's focus. She flinches from my touch. [Are you okay?]

'What?' She says all confused. 'Yeah I'm fine, just have a lot on my mind.'

'Care to share?' I stick my spoon with chocolate pudding in her face, making her smile.

'No, not really.' She latches onto my spoon, licking the pudding off.

'You're turning into Theia.' I laugh.

Hearing her name, Theia turns her head to us and smirks. 'You know, that's how I lick pu-'

'TOO EARLY!!' Kerrys and I shout at the same time.

'It's 12:30pm.' She shrugs.

'It's always too early for your... nastiness.' I reply.

'But tell us later though.' Kayla winks.

'That is what I like to hear.' Theia smirks.

My phone buzzes, drawing my attention from the girls talking, and I pull it out.

Asshole

Come over tonight

Yes I renamed him "asshole" after he pissed me off this morning.

Sage

I'm busy

Asshole

It wasn't a question.

He's such a piece of shit. How dare he demand my presence.

Sage

I am working tonight.

And F U for assuming I'll just come over whenever you call

'Asshole.' I mumble.

'Who is?' Kayla asks. Shit, did I say that out loud?.

'No-one.' I reply quickly and before Kayla can ask again, the bell rings.

'We shall continue this later.' She points at me, walking off with Theia to double gym.

'Kerrys?' She looks up at me. 'The bell's gone, we need to get to class.'
