Chapter 23

Micah's POV

I see Sage roll her eyes and go back to stacking the shelves but what makes me see red is when they put their hand on her shoulder and fling her round, to the point where she loses her balance a little bit. Sage backhands their hand away and her face screws up. The two of them are waving hands and shouting at each other. Sage points to the door, seemingly telling the person to get out and they do, slamming the door behind them.

Sage's POV

I'm stood confused, waiting for them to say something. 'What the hell are you doing here?' I ask.

'I'm here to tell you to stay away from my man.' I roll my eyes at this girl's request and carry on with stacking the shelves.

Before I know it, she puts her hand on my shoulder and turns me around, causing me to lose my balance a little. 'I'm talking to you.' She screeches.

I backhand her hand away. 'Don't you fucking touch me, you skanky bitch.'

'I said stay away from my man.' She huffs.

'Listen Heidi/Hailey or whatever H your name is-'

'MY NAME IS ZARA!' She interrupts me. 'I only let Micah call me Heidi because he fucks me good.'

I roll my eyes. 'Okay, good for you. But what's that got to do with me?'

'Micah's mine, so stay away from him.'

'You've not given me any evidence to suggest he is yours.' This bitch is crazy.

She huffs. 'Yeah, well you're not woman enough for him, and you never will be.' She folds her arms, looking all smug.

'Bitch, please! If he really is yours, then why is he always begging me to come over? Why is he always at mine, begging to fuck me?' I raise my brow.

That shuts her up. Before she can say anything else, I point towards the door. 'Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Or do!' I stare her down, daring her to say something else.

She huffs and storms out, slamming the door behind her.

I dim the shop lights, checking everything is secure, walk out of the door and lock up. As I'm walking towards my car, I drop my bag.

'Seriously' I roll my eyes.

Once I put everything back into my bag, I carry on towards my car, but I hear a noise that stops me in my tracks. I do a quick scan of my surroundings and hurry to my car.

Once I reach to my house, I notice Micah's car isn't there. Shame, because I was actually planning on going over and releasing some stress, possibly reaching heaven.

Should I text him. You know what no I need to give my flower a rest for once, I'll just message him tomorrow. I carry on making my way inside.

Flashback of Micah's POV

Sage dims the shop lights, walks out the door and locks up. As she is walking towards her car, Heidi starts following behind her. I need to do something about this bitch terrorising my girl. Sage drops her bag, which then makes Heidi stop and hide behind a car, waiting for her to pick everything up. Once Sage puts everything back into her bag, Heidi goes after her, but I manage to grab her and pull her behind a tree before she makes any contact with Sage.

I put my hand over her mouth. 'Scream and I will fucking kill you, do you understand?' Heidi nods.

Sage looks back, seemingly hearing noise, she looks around for a few seconds. After not seeing anything, she gets into her car and drives off. I see something shiny glistening on the floor where she dropped her bag. I walk towards it, yanking Heidi along and pick it up. It's the keys to the shop.

'You and I are going to have a little talk. Let's go!' I pull her, whilst she screams my hands still covering her mouth. I unlock the shop door and drag her inside.

Micah's POV

I slammed the door hard, dash her to the ground and skulk towards her. She crawls back in a panic, trying to get away from me, hitting her back against the counter.

'Listen good and listen clear. Stay the fuck away from Sage. This is your only warning!' I threaten.

She struggles to her feet and attempts to lift her head in defiance. 'Why are you dealing with that bitch when you have me?'.

I look at her in disgust, did she just call my girl a bitch. My blood was already boiling from the fact she came her to talk to Sage and now. I huff. She's calling my girl a bitch. I feel my rage building higher and higher and then this stupid whore spits out more shit.

'Can you believe that she called me a skank' Heidi huffs. 'Me a skank she's the real skank opening her legs to MY man'. 'You don't even want her do you babe it's me you want right'.

She called Sage a skank I see red and start walking towards her.

'Right' Heidi says again.

I carry on walking towards her starting to push the candles of the shelves as I get closer to her. That's when her face drops, and I see terror in her eyes. I like that I like to see the terror in people's eyes, it makes the kill even more satisfying.

'Baby... Micah... what's... What are you doing' Heidi stutters the words coming out of her mouth.

'Listen because these are the last words you are going to ever hear'. I speak with pure rage. 'You are NOTHING to me, I am not your man all you are is a plaything and not even a good one at that'. 'You are nowhere near Sage's level, she is a goddess, and you are merely a disgusting bug below our feet'. I spit out the last sentence.

Tears fall from her face.

I stop a few feet in front of her, cock my head to the left and smirk. At that point she tries to make a run for it out the back. I grip her arm and pull her to me. I look her in the eyes. 'This is your own fault'. I say mellow toned.

'Ple... please Micah don't do this' Heidi cry's

I ignore her cry's and push her down banging her head off one on the shelves. Crimson starts to pour out of her head. I step over her and look for a lighter. I find one behind the counter and piles of paper, I throw the papers on the floor and set them on fire.

I walk back over to Heidi's body and crouch down. 'You should have stayed away from Sage'. A tear falls from her cheek I stand up, step back over her and exit the shop. I cross over the street and get in my car. I pick up my phone and text Sage:

Micah

I'm going out of town. Call when I'm back.

I put my car in drive and watch the building going up in flames in my rear-view mirror with a smirk on my face.
