YOUR PARADISE || cr. azivai : wattpad
ch 2 .. unheard of?

"YOU'RE TELLING ME, that you haven't even heard of me? me!? the one and only (y/n) (l/n), the most famous doctor in this era?" her eyes nearly bulged out of her head as she shook the poor guy back and forth, stars forming above his head as he desperately tried to get her to stop.

"a-ah i'm so sorry miss! i don't know you-" he begged her to stop, which she suddenly did, her eyes completely diluting as she stands still, trying to take in the words and let them sink in. what the heck was happening to her?

"right, i'm sorry to bother you." she fixes her posture and stands up straight, dusting down her white collared long-sleeve blouse as she mutters the apology. "is it alright if i ask which year it is?"

this seemed to be the only thing she could ask as of now, since it seemed that the surrounding area had changed so much and no one had even heard of her name, even as if she was one of the most famous doctors in the region, one known to have caused miracles and saved countless lives.

"are you okay?? it's the year xxxx?" he mutters confused, wondering why she wouldn't know the year. this left her eyes almost falling out again as her brain ran in circles, herself wondering if she was just dreaming or in a different universe.

"alright, thank you for your co-operation." she formally thanks him, once again putting on her 'serious dilemma' and quickly walks off, but not before tilting her head downwards to offer a slight bow towards the man.

i don't understand. perhaps i travelled in time? that seems like a logical conclusion. i'll have to revise what i was last doing first, she inwardly inhales a breath of air as she sits down, her back leaning against the concrete bridge while a few pigeons flock in front of her and hop towards her with motions of curiosity.

ah, she just realised that the last thing she did was activate a unknown seal in a cave that she had ventured into that day, running away from some responsibilities that she did not want to have. but what could've dispelled the seal? she didn't know the answer to that herself.

yeah.. it'll be fine. i just have to work my way up again.. she sighs inwardly, not looking forward to what she was going to have to do in the future. but she could do it couldn't she? it wouldn't be that hard after all, since doctor were quite rare and they did not have much medication back then.

wait.. back then? technology must have advanced so much from then, and she was completely outdated right now. so what now? did they develop pills that'll literally heal you in a second? magical elements that can close your wounds? (y/n) knew it was selfish of her to hope not, but she didn't care.

she stood up, straightening her posture yet again before proceeding to move her arms above her head to stretch them, as after all, she did not really know the last time she did and being a doctor, she knew what would happen to your muscles if you refrained them from moving for too long.

glancing around her, she decided to go to a end of the bridge, whilst the pigeons still looked at her in curiosity, and so did the little boy that you shook which currently seemed to be feeding the pigeons opposite you. you quickly spared him an apologetic glance for disturbing him earlier before walking towards a giant gate which two guards seemed to guard.

it was a familiar looking scene, one that she had definitely been to before- it was just revamped and changed so much that she wasn't sure where it was. she had been all over teyvat after all, and had a everlasting memory that always did her good.

mondstadt? no way. she's literally going to stab someone and then stitch their wound back up if this was mondstadt. shaking her head of these thoughts, she approached the two guards guarding the entry, wondering if she needed a visa or something of the sort.

but instead, both of them crossed over their weapons and blocked her path as they questioned her, "you don't look familiar! please explain yourself!" (y/n) honestly did not know how to respond or what stupid excuse to use. 'oh yeah, i'm just from the past and i woke up here?' she doubted anyone would believe her if she said something like that.

"i'm a travelling doctor from the regions of sumeru. i'm here on vacation." would that be good enough? she honestly did not know but she didn't have any other excuse. she waited for their answer patiently, already preparing her comebacks for if they asked any other question.

"doctor? do you mean healer? do you have a vision or do you do medical aid?" huh!? she screamed in her head. well sure, she was a healer, but the way they phrased it literally made her lose brain cells. you idiotic sycophants, you better explain your reasoning for redirecting my words like that. she wanted to phrase out her inner voice at them, but decided to swallow down her pride and not do it, for the sake of her future.

"a vision? i'm not aware of what that is, but i do apologise as i've gone into a predicament where i can't really explain what's happened." was that good enough? probably not, but she threw her shot.

"but you're from sumeru? how could you not know what a vision is?" she was quiet. a vision? from the way that they have phrased it out, it seems that it's a object that is owned by specific people, since it would not make sense to be able to ask if i could see.

"i'd like an audience with the director or person in charge here please," she hoped this would not cause her to be too suspicious. the two guards seemed to have discussed amongst each other, making (y/n) furrow her brows in distaste, wanting to just cut into their conversation and lecture them on all the things they were doing wrong as they greeted her.

"alright, we can get you a meeting with the acting grand master of the place." she cheered mentally, completely forgetting about the inner threats of ripping out their intestines she had made just 2 seconds ago. then they added to their previous statement, offering a welcome.

"welcome to mondstadt!" ok. she took back every single freaking thing she had thought earlier.

yuhh y/n kinda based of shinobu but not rlly... like she's a doctor and loves insulting people. NOTE, NOT IN GAME CANNON but i'm writing that there's no visions or anything of the sort back in her timeline, so that's why she doesn't understand anything when she woke up.

again, she could've been alive millions of years ago, so the archons had not been alive, nor celestial being formed either, but teyvat still had their original nations and slight similarities.
