The Preparation

And I could not wait for the school to start . I had already informed Shlok on whatsapp and we had already made a time table for our practises and what we planned to do in them and also made a rough list of my team.

The school started and I met the players who were for sure on my team even before the first period! I also talked about the other possible players and asked them to join our first few practice sessions. There were 5 spots left in the team ( including substitutes) and there were 11 contenders for the spot. Another headache was collecting the entry fees and money for the jerseys . I and Shlok kept an eye out for the 5 players who would make it in our team . In the course of our daily practise, injuries became common. Each player put their best foot forward and practised hard to come into our team . I was allowed to play all evening on the condition that it did not affect my studies . And I was able to do this by staying up almost every night till 12 in the night . And after days of hard work and sweating it out on the field I finally had my top 15 . They were
