Kakyoin's pov

After dinner I followed Jotaro into his room. He didn't say a word just started placing a pillow and blanket on the floor. I grabbed the camera I had set down earlier and sat on the floor. "What are you doing?" Jotaro questioned
"Oh um getting ready for bed" I answered in a questioning tone
"You're not sleeping on the floor."
"Oh then where.." I looked around the room for a place to sleep. Jotaro just chuckled
"You can have the bed."
"No I couldn't. I already feel like I'm overstaying my welcome."
"You're not. It's fine I set that stuff down for me." he said jestering to the pillow and blanket on the floor
"No it's okay I think the floor is more comfortable anyways." I said trying to reason with him
"Kakyoin" His tone got harsher "Just get on the bed." It sounded more like a threat than an offer
"Oh yeah sorry." I climbed onto the bed and took my camera out to look at some pictures. I was skipping through pictures when I felt Jotaro hover behind me
"Did you take those yourself?" I flinched a little and turned to him
"Um yeah"
"They're really good."
"Thanks" I blushed. I continued skipping through the pictures still feeling him hovering over I slid over on the bed to make some room
"You can come closer." he nodded and came up on the bed. He sat next me our knees touching not that close. I tried to hide my blush as I showed him the pictures. "These are the ducks at the pond."
"Hmm you have a lot of pictures of them." He leaned closer. I giggled trying to calm my nerves,
"Yeah they're really cute."
"There are." I turned to him to see him staring at me instead of the picture. His face was so close to mine now that we were facing each other. My heart skipped a beat
"A-anyways here's this cat I saw." I counited showing him pictures but it was like his eyes only stayed on my face.

I yawned it was getting late and I was getting pretty tired.
"Tired?" Jotaro questioned as I yawned
"Yeah I'm getting pretty sleepy." Jotaro chuckled
"Yeah we should probably get to bed."
"Probably" I giggled as he sat up to flick off the light. As I heard Jotaro let out a final breath as he laid down the whole situation hit me. I'm really sleeping in Jotaro's bed. His scent filled the sheets. I blushed and turned over so I wasn't facing Jotaro. Stop thinking about it and sleep. But I couldn't no matter what I did I couldn't get my heart to stop beating so fast. I was also wearing his sweatshirt which made it worse. I was so nervous, yet I felt so safe. His scent was calming. I finally got the courage to glance over my shoulder at him. He wasn't wearing his hat, his dark wavy hair stood out against his pale neck. I gulped and turned back over. Feeling my heart beat as it grew faster. Go to bed I scolded myself. But I couldn't, I can't even describe the emotions I was feeling. A miracle must've happened last night because I was able to sleep.

I opened my eyes in the dimly light room, the sun was just coming up. I look over to Jotaro who was talking in his sleep.
"no...please" Is he crying?? I sat up and moved closer to him. "please I'm begging you." He's definitely not okay, he sounded so sad. I got off my bed and kneeled on the floor next to him
"Jotaro what's wrong?" He didn't answer he was still tousling around in his sleep. He was sweating too. He seemed really freaked out. I reached my hand out to wipe the sweat from his forehead. He flinched a little so I drew my hand back, but then his expression got softer so I brought it back. "Jotaro?" I called out softly, he seemed like he was waking up. His eyes opened and his deep blue eyes met with mine. I let out a small smile still wiping his face. "Are you...okay?" He still seemed like he was in a little shock but still sat up.
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Did you have a bad dream." I asked looking away. I felt a little embarrassed for touching him like that.
"Something like that." He answered running his fingers through his hair.
"Seemed like it was pretty bad."
"Wasn't the best" he shrugged. I nodded looking at my hands in my lap when suddenly he turned so he facing me.
"Are you okay?"
"Oh yeah I'm fine...why do you ask?" He shrugged again
"Just checking in." I nodded and left a silence between us.
"Wanna talk about it?" I asked
"No." It wasn't in a harsh tone just a casual no
"Oh. That's fine then." He stood up and started walking away from the conversation
"Is it fine if I wash up first?"
"Oh yeah that's fine." He nodded and shut the bathroom door. What was that? He said it wasn't that bad but it seemed really bad. I wanted to talk to him more about it but I didn't want to pry. Maybe I can ask later.

I sat on his floor still thinking about this morning when Jotaro's mom knocked on the door.
"Oh your up that's good. Where's Jotaro?"She said placing my clothes from yesterday on the bed
"Washing up" I answered back
"Ah I see well breakfast is ready in the kitchen." I nodded and stood up. I started taking off Jotaro's sweatshirt to change into my shirt Mrs. Holly just washed. The sweatshirt was about halfway off when the bathroom door opened. It was kinda embarrassing having Jotaro see me shirtless. We made eye contact for 5 seconds and none of us moved a
muscle.
"Ah sorry." Jotaro finally said returning to the bathroom. My face turned bright red when I processed the situation. Jotaro had just seen me shirtless. I tried to calm myself down so I could change It's fine, right? I mean we're both guys it's not like he saw anything. I was still feeling embarrassed even after trying to convince myself it was fine.

I made my way to the kitchen where everyone was already sitting except Jotaro. Holly was happily making some tea and some toast for breakfast. The whole environment of the house was so amazing it wasn't something I hadn't experienced in years. I took a seat next to Avdol who was reading a book.
"Good morning Kakyoin." He greeted me
"Morning." I smiled back
"How was sleeping with grumpy Jotaro?" Polnareff joked
"It was fine." I giggled
"He didn't push you off the bed or anything?" He joked once more
"Nope, actually he insisted on sleeping on the floor." Polnareff looked really surprised by this
"Really.." He said in and intriguing tone. I nodded and looked at the hallway to see Jotaro walking in.
"So how was the floor Jotaro?" Polnareff teased
"Shut up." Jotaro barked back. Jotaro sat in the seat across from me I looked up at him to realize he was already looking at me. He pulled his hat down over his face but before he did I swear I saw him blush. What was that? My thoughts were intruperted by Mrs. Holly bringing over two cups of tea.
"Good Morning boys." she said cheerfully
"Morning Mrs. Holly." I said back. Jotaro just grunted in response as she set down our cups
"So any plans today?" She questioned buttering the toast
"Uh I'm not sure I might go home my moms gonna be home tonight." I felt bad for lying to Mrs. Holly but at the same time I didn't want her knowing about my situation.
"But you said she wasn't coming till late at night" she said in a worried tone
"Well yes but I'll only be alone for a couple hours." Mrs. Holly walked over with the toasts on a plate and set them in front of me and Jotaro.
"Well what if I gave you boys money you guys could go out today so you won't have to be alone."
"It's really fine Mrs. Holly you've already done so much." I said that but I still had the feeling she wouldn't take no for an answer.
"It's really been no trouble at all, plus I'm sure Jotaro would want to spend time with you." I looked over at Jotaro who definitely did not look like he wanted to spend time with me.
"It's really fine there's food in the fridge for me and if I get bored I could just watch tv" The only truthful statement in that was that I could watch tv.
"Well if it's really ok-"
"How much will you give us." Jotaro said cutting off Holly. I gave him a confused look as he turned away.
"As much as you need." Holly smiled. She was over the moon on the fact that Jotaro took her up on this deal. Although I'm pretty sure he was just doing it for the money
"Hand me your wallet." He commanded and Mrs. Holly happily agreed and went to the counter to grab her wallet. Jotaro took it and grabbed handfuls of cash out of it.
"Let's go." He said to me not even looking my way.
"Oh uh okay." we left in such a hurry I didn't even finish my breakfast.
