The quite-but-not-almost-darkness of the moist basement was starting to annoy him. He didn't knew it is was day or night outside. Hell, he didn't even know how long he slept here. Germany laid motionless on the dirty floor, half of his face was alredy numb from the cold but he couldn't be botherd to get up. Could he even do that anymore? ...Getting up?
He tried deniying it over the last hours. No, I did not lose after all. No, this memories are just plain wrong. I just went... mad for a short while. Nothing is destroyed. Everything is fine. It was comforting for a while but then he started to feel the emptiness behind them, he gave up on that. If everything was fine, then why was he down here in this dark cold shithole? Why did he feel worse then ever? Why did he had this memory of nearly passing out because someone gigantic was crushing his windpipe? And the downfall into the darkness... His new blue-purple spots on his body told all about the stairs, he crawled up recently to check the door (It was locked). And all the other things... The pictures in his mind... He was really done for.
"I lost!" That was the short but painful sentence in his mind, floating around, bouncing off the insides of his skull. Oh, it hurted so much. The humilitation to be treated like that, to be at the mercy of his enemys. The helplessnes. That was the worst. He couldn't do or say anything regarding himself anymore, THEY would decide over his fate. And it would be definetly not end well for him, that was clear. He regretted now the desicion to just burst into them, to baisicly sell himself out for... why... despiration? His feelings got the better of him there and now he sufferd the consequences. He could beat himself over the head, but he was already punished enough with this still naggin pain in his body. Speaking of that...Germany saw his hands right before him, the yellow of his skin was still quite vibrant despite the gloomy ambiences and all the dirt and dried blood on them. It looked so uncanny and wrong. If that was his new colours (that he got for some reasons), he did not even want to know what the other potiental stripes or pictures are looking like. Why not at least his old colours? Black-white-red was way better then this crap. It reminded him of his short lived time as the Weimar Repuplic. That were the same flag colous, at least the bottom was. If he will look just like that again... It would be just sealing his fate even more. The loser colours. Oh so great.
Just like the great emptiness inside his heart, the dream Germany had, made things not lighter for him. The screaming of his father, calling out that they are taking what was always his. That they will take everything away from him. Of corse they will be doing that. France was always a nusience, he rememberd. She was always out to get something for herself and if that was not possible, she would try to do damage to everything else. For centuries. Do not trust France. Germany would keep this advive in mind, especially after more memorys confirmed that what the voice said before. The Soviet Union was also a huge problem, he felt. This was a monster of a country (size-wise and character) and was not afraid of exhessive bloodshed. Germany had made this experience himself after fighting him, so said his memorys from bloodpainted snowscapes and stacked up dead bodys of his people. For the others of the bunch, he was still not sure, except the usual hate and anger. They will breed something extra disgusting for his fate and future. They will still take my land away, even if I am still here, right? What good would it do to keep him alive? Germany could answer this question with ease, without even having to do mental gymnastics. Nothing! To keep him around would make everything just more difficult. It was way easier to just get rid of him and move on. Place an another useless steel tower on his soil, lice in Paris. Rip down his great buildings th replace them with grey, faceless apartment buildings, like the ones he saw in Moscow a far while back. Or wipe out his well maintained and taught disciplene in his people to replace the german virtues with lazieness, carelessness and... and... Germany closed his eyes. His head hurted way too much to think over the same stuff again and again. He felt so tired... Just falling asleep again would be beautiful, but the last dream scared him off of that. Germany did not even want to imagine what the voices would scream at him this time.
