UK stepped out of the bunker and took a deep breath, even if the air smelled like smoke and old gunpouder. But for him also smelled of sweet, sweet victory. It felt like a huge weight from all the years of war was lifted from his chest. We have won!Unbelieveble, but they made it.A second time, mind you.Even if everyone thougt that the first time would be an only thing.Despite that Germany was technological always a few steps advanced(this fact would be rubbed in everyones faces by the German itself, subtle or not)but in the end this did not made a difference.Jokes on you,3.Reich."Mon diou...You can't believe...how relieved I am..." France showed up beside him, tears of joy still rolling over her lean cheeks. "I dreamt of this moment every day I was enslaved to this...monster and now...it finally came true... "Jes.",UK answerd simply not really knowing what to add to this magical moment of triump. "I think we just wrote history,my dear.Again we defeated the power-hungry warlord who thinks the world should bow and bend to his twisted will. But he is no match for us after all." "No match?" America walked up to them, smiling bigger then always. "Then why did ya'all came up to me begging for help after the little shit acted up a little?" UK flinced but choose not to react to it and ruin his mood so he ignored his sly comment. France gave him a short angry glare."If you helped us right from the start then this wouldn't had been such a big issue and a lot of people hadn't to die.",she pointed out. "Hey,remember what I also said:I will not always hold your hand in everything.I have my own things to worry about,so you europeans have to learn to do your own stuff and not bothering me with it.", America stated bluntly and grinned cheekily. "Oi,we are able to do that, thanks for asking.", France scoffed. "But we-Okay everyone! We can discuss this later.Son,don't ruin the moment fo everyone. We ended a worldwide conflict in our favor and I don't want another one starting right after it,ok?", cut UK into the sensitive topic. He felt the rising tension as open wounds were messed with. The same tension that has been showing up many times in the past between the allied forces before. He didn't like that. They were supposed to be a team but at the end everyone was their own country with own goals and views of how things should be. This alliance was not made for lasting long.
"A-Anyways,where is Soviet?", UK asks to break up the icy silence. "Still inside to 'check a few things'.I say the commie just looks for things to steal or something. Why?" America's smile lost its triumphing happieness for a moment. "For getting some good drinks.Toast on the beginning of a new age without having to live in fear to hear air-raid sirens at any moment. Really,I need something strong...My injuries are acting up again." "Great Idea!" America lightens up again. "Whats the point of winning a war if you not celebrate it? Ey,Soviet!", he called out to the tall figure emeging from the entry of the bunker. "Get your ass over here.We have to celebrate my victory!" My victory? France and UK gave eachoter a confused look. In what part did he... "Shut up,Amerikanski! The war is far from over.", the big nation grumbled as he came closer to them. He carried a bag under his arm wich he gave with a few whisperd orders to a passing by russian soldier who nodded and hurried off. America looked slightly over his shoulder to give them a I-told-you-look before turning back. "Of corse the war is over!",insisted France quickly. "Nyet! Only the nazi is dead with a few fanatics still running around who are still shooting everything that moves. And there is still Japan wich is still alive and keeps on fighting if you can remember that." France sight and turned her eyes. "Yeah...Japan...Obligations...I know...You really know how to get the mood up,Russie." Soviet just shrugged. "I'll handle Japan,no worries.",America jumped in. "But not today. And now if you are a real commie then you share your liqour with us!"
Destruction.
It was just everywhere! Not a single building was even slightly intact. That what was once a thriving,life-filled city is now a former shadow of itself. At least Germany could imagine it that way. (His memory was still not kind with him, only feeding him small snippits of high buildings and many people walking in the now buried, ripped up streets) The worst thing was that the form and some corners looked somehow slightly familliar but he could not remember for the life of it where he was. It was like a long, neverending deja-vu. He desperatly tried to remember the name of the building he woke up besides to,made from yellow-greyish stone darkend from smoke, with pillars infront of his entreance like a temple and broken windows. It looked important so how could he forget the name of a important landmark in his city? Somehow the Word Reichstag popped sometimes up but he did not trust his brain enough to believe that. Even that the devastation was soul-crushing to look at,Germany couldn't take his eyes of it. It just seemed so...unreal...like a nightmare a country would had. Hopefully this was just a dream aswell...He wished with all his heart that it was one. But as longer he continued limping around it became clear that this was sadly reality. "Oh Gott,is it even possible to clean this huge mess up?", he asked himself quietly.Problably not .Whoever caused this gigantic destruction(and Germany was pretty sure that these unknown soldiers had something to do with it)had made sure that there would be no stone on top of another anymore. But what happend? What made them do this?Greed? Fun? Boredom? He still hadn't found answers of clues to this questions. Of corse the most burning one of all things were the most unclear one.
