"The... the princess!!" Lily sobbed. "Your Majesty" She pleaded, kneeling in front of him. He looked down at her, with the full intent of killing her.
She, who left Athy unattended allowed her to disappear.
She, who didn't come in time, allowed this to happen.
A handmaid she was! She couldn't even keep her master safe!He clenched his fist, remembering Athy's smile earlier today.
"You," Claude commanded. "What happened?!"
Lily looked up at him,
"I don't have all day. What happened to Athanasia?!" He roared back at her.
Felix knelt beside Lily and comforted her.
"Your Majesty, it wasn't her fault, please-"
"Do you want to be the first one to die?" He glared at him. It really did seem like he would kill him now, unlike at the banquet.
Felix shook his head quietly.
Claude turned to Lucas.
"Give me the book" Lucas turned to Lily. His voice was nothing like his usual playful tone. It was stern and cold--serious.
He flipped the book open, "I knew it, that idiotic brat"
"How dare you say that Athanasia is an idiotic brat you lowly scum?" Claude menaced at Lucas.
"We have more important things regarding your daughter than how I call her." Lucas held the book high in the air so they could see its title
Claude snatched the book from his hands.
"Black magic?" His eyes rose in terror. He turned around facing the others.
"WHO ALLOWED HER TO HAVE THIS BOOK?!"Lily and Felix kneeled, as the other servants, they did not know.
Seeing no reply, he turned to Lucas. "YOU?!"Lucas snatched the book,
"Of course not. Who do you think I am?"
Claude's glare lessened as he focused on the book.
It was the very same book he had used 16 years ago to forget Diana. A book that's contents transformed into whatever one desired. And now Athanasia had used it.
What will become of her? What has been taken away from her?
He trembled at the last thought. The possibilities were endless, but everything it took was always important.
He looked at Lucas.
"What?" He asked him.
"You know." Claude glared at him.
"You already know about the book. It changes for every person. We have to find out what the princess wanted, and someone who wants it too to see the contents."
He clenched the book, knowing he couldn't destroy it or he would lose hope of finding Athy.
The moon shone in its half form yet again. Rays of light came to the room.

Athy crept up the Royal Gardens.
It's so different...
She saw Lilian and Diana laughing in the sun as they walked through the garden.
"So that's Fairy..." She shook her head, "Mom..."
Claude was walking up the path as he came across Diana.
He leaned forward to her and :
"KISSED HER?!" Athy gaped. She flushed red with embarrassment, witnessing her parents... making out.
Noticing her presence, Claude came to Athy.
"What is a lowly commoner doing here?"
Diana quickly pulled up,
"Aww!! Isn't she such a cutie-pie??" Her eyes begged at Claude pleadingly to at least take her in and know her situation.
Claude shook his head.
"Ahahahaha." Athy smiled uneasily. She was relieved that she had transformed her eyes into a different color--not jeweled--upon arriving.
Claude hoisted her up and dragged her to the palace, trying to make himself unaware of Diana's complaints that he was being too harsh.
Dad's so different.
She dangled freely,
But what am I doing!! I have to prevent Mom from dying from having me!!! But... isn't this a good thing.
She thought to herself again.
I can be in contact with Mom!!!
Her gloomy face was soon replaced with a bright smile.
I wonder... if they know that I'm gone...
She held back her tears.
No, Dad will be happier with Mom back. Lily has Felix and... Lucas...
She thought of Jennette and Ijekiel and their engagement.
He'll be fine. I was just a plaything for him.
Athy turned her head up, looking at Diana clearly. She was exactly like how Claude showed her in her dreams. Pretty. A living fairy.
