Athy sat down on her bed hugging her pillow.
It was the basics of the basics. If she wanted to prevent Diana from getting a child, aka her which caused her death (read in the booklet) she would have to prevent them...
Her face flushed,
Sleeping together.
She threw the pillow back onto the bed, relentlessly punching it.
How am I supposed to do that?
Her face dug into the pillow.
It's literally instinct. She turned to the fancy portraits hanging in decoration in her room.
Plus, she's his concubine.
She bit her lips at concubine.
If Daddy truly loved Mom, why didn't he marry her and make her Empress?
Her eyes flashed, a sheer hint of jealously wavered for Jeanette's mother: Penelope.
He treated her like his fiancee. A prince's fiancee she was at that time. Not a simple plaything.
It doesn't matter if Daddy's emperor now. Mom's still just someone he can ditch.Tears formed angrily in her eyes as she snatched the booklet out.
Treat her better this time.
I'll make sure of it.

She pulled the curtain drapes, ringing the bell for the maids.
A gentle knock was heard soon after.
"Come in."
"We greet the guest of the Sun of the Obelian Empire", they curtsied in union.
She sighed, inhaling deeply--preparing herself for the cringe.Oh god.
"I- I- I-"
They raised their heads in question."I- Can-... you let me know when... Lady... Lady- Diana is... available for a tea party?"
That was terrible!!!!!Athy screamed inside her brain. Biting her lips, forcing a cute look.
Get. Those. Eyes. In. Place, BRAINNN
The maids smiled uncomfortably, unsure of the situation.
"We shall let you know when Lady Diana replies, Miss..."
"Athy" Her eyes darted up, away from her cute appearance. They nodded,
"We shall let you know when Lady Diana replies, Miss Athy."
There was an obvious stumble on 'Athy', but Athy didn't care about it. What noble would name their daughter 'Athy'?Now I have to wait.
She lay down on the bed, her hand reaching out to the ceiling.
In her previous life, she hated waiting.
Those dark nights, where she cuddled in the cold with only a thin sheet of cloth to keep her warm.
The bare walls, covered in graffiti and children's drawings.
The ripped toys she treasured so much.
And when the sirens would sound, she would peer out of the barred windows-- the blue hue of the night reflecting on her face; she would see the families hugging together, comforting each other.
The mornings after, she'd tell the caretaker:
"When am I going to get a family?"
They'd smile sweetly and say soon.
When she'd ask that no one ever visited,
They'd promise that she would get a family for sure one day.
But they knew no one would come to that poor old orphanage.
The workers only wanted the money the government gave them.
She knew that the older she got, it'd be harder.
Every cold night that passed, she'd comfort herself into thinking:
Only one more night. One...more.
When her eighteenth birthday came, she gritted her teeth as she saw a thin slip of paper. You're old enough to live by yourself now.
She wanted to laugh.
All her years waiting, and all she got was a slip of paper.
Not even 'Happy Birthday' was written because why would they be happy of losing a money goat?---
She clasped her hand down onto the bed.
Sigh. I hope they come back soon.
She tossed to the side of the bed.
A quick nap won't hurt... right?
---"Lu...cas!"
Athy's eyes opened in shock. She ran over, touching every corner of his face.
His mouth was moving.
"Lucas?"
She tippy-toed up to see his eyes.
"Lucas?"
She touched his hand.
"W-what?!"
Her hand flowed through directly, she screamed.
"LUCASS!!"
Can he not hear me, no he can't. But, no!!
She shook her head.
I shouldn't even be here!
Her eyes wavered, looking around.
It was pure white. Why am I here?
She reached out and hugged Lucas.Do you miss me?
He turned to her.
She smiled bitterly--
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!*
"Ah--Come in.""We greet the guest of the Sun of the Obelian empire."
She nodded for them to continue.Hopefully my hair isn't too messy...
"Lady Diana has invited you to her tea party tomorrow at three-o-clock."
"Thank you, you may leave now." She waved her hand.
"We will take our leave, Miss Athy." They bowed, and the door clicked shut.WHEW! What was that dream anyways? Wait.. what dream?

-Original Timeline-"Princess?"
Lucas turned around, he swore he just heard his name being called. Purple dust faded blissfully in the wind.
Don't be having petty imaginations now.
He turned to the long list of contestants for those who might've felt the same as Athy.
"506, come up."
He stared at him.He won't make it. But aren't I being optimistic, giving him a chance on the book?
"Touch the book. Once."
"Yes! Sir!"As soon as he flipped it open, he knew it wasn't right.
Spell on how to make a girl do _________ with you.
Lucas' face was disgusted.
"Oi." He turned to him.
"Yes! Sir!"
"Consent is important, and don't you dare call me sir."
His face blushed, full of embarrassment and shock. He nodded quietly and headed down the stairs.Lucas sighed.
"507, come up."
