sigh i thought that we'll be able to celebrate our anniversary today but it seems like jeongguk has other ideas. i went and also prepared his shoes and suitcase when i saw that he's still sleeping. weird. usually, at this time he's already awake, so i just decided to wake him up myself.
"jeongguk." i slightly shook his body.
"jeongguk, you'll be late if you don't wake up now." i shook him again.
"hmm. five more minutes please." he said. i suddenly remembered the morning after that incident happened, he also told me the same thing. that thought made me giggle.
"jeongguk please wake up. it's already time for you to prepare." i shook him again while giggling. jeongguk really is hard to wake up.
"i'm awake." he said then sat up. eyes still closed. he looks so cute right now, bundled up in the blankets while trying to get wake himself up.

it's like a minute when jeongguk shook himself and stood up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom. after i heard the bathroom closed, i took it as a chance to fix the bed up and lay his clothes on it.
i went out of the room so that jeongguk can change to his office attire.
i was checking to see if i forgot to prepare anything when jeongguk came down the stairs and hand me his tie. he doesn't know how to wear a tie by himself so i do this every morning. i love it though, makes me feels like i am somewhat important in jeongguk's life everytime he hands me his necktie. as i fixing his tie, i can feel like somebody is watching (read:staring) at me so i blushed.
"is there something on my face?" i shyly asked.
"no." he answered, the turn his gaze away from me.
"uhm, okay. all done." i said while patting his suit. i handed him his suit and he grabbed it to me without a word. he was walking his way to the front door when i called his name.
"jeongguk." i called, which made him stop from his tracks.
"c-can i g-go and bring y-you lunch later?" i asked.
"whatever." he said, still not turning his back then continued to walk to the front door.
"okay! see you later at lunch." i cheered, clearly excited cause he did not reject me.

i'm preparing the dish that i'm gonna be bringing later to jeongguk's office. still giddy that he somewhat agreed to have a lunch with me today.
i was baking a cake when i heard my phone ring. i checked it and saw that jeongguk's dad is calling me.
"hello dad." i greeted.
"hello, my taetae." he replied.
"how are you doing? what made you call today, dad?" i asked.
"still the same. hmm i know today isn't the right time but this is my only free time for this week. my taetae please don't be sad, but has jeongguk mentioned anything about divorce?" dad said. suddenly dropping the bomb which made my body stiff. so he really is planning to divorce me.
"hello? tae? are you still there?" i heard dad said, checking if i'm still on the line when i realized that it's already a few minutes that i was not responding.
"yes, dad. still here. hehe just doing some thing. and about your question, no. jeongguk has not mentioned anything about divorce. he even told me to go to his office so we can have lunch together." i said. i know that i'm lying but if i say the truth, i know that they're gonna put the blame on jeongguk again once the divorce is finalized. so i'm gonna cover him up while i still can.
"hmm really? forget i asked that. anyways, happy anniversary to you both. see you soon, my taetae. bye!" dad said.
"thank you, dad. see you soon." i responded.
i was just in my thoughts when dad hung up the phone. he's really determined to be away from me, huh? he really hates me that much and not wanting to do anything with me. why can't you love me back, jeongguk? i can't understand. why do you hate me so much? i never did anything wrong to you. i thought while crying. should i move on? should i be the one to request for the divorce so that you won't be blamed for anything? i hate that i love you so much jeongguk. one month, i'll endure this for one month and then i'll let you go. i'll never bother you again.

i am on my way to jeongguk's office right now. even though my heart is still aching, i won't let this chance passed where jeongguk didn't reject my offer to eat with him. i'm already at the parking lot and is checking if i have everything before locking my car and walking to the elevator.
i'm at the front of jeongguk's office when a woman stopped me from going inside.
"excuse me, what are you doing infront of mr. jeon's office?" the woman asked me, then gazed at the bags that i'm holding.
"oh. i'm here for jeongguk. i brought lunch for him." i answered.
"i'm sorry. mr. jeon is not accepting any guests without appointments. did you perhaps, set up an appointment with him?" she asked nicely, clearly just doing her job. i forgot that jeongguk didn't want anyone to know that we're married so nobody from his office knows that i'm his husband. yes, they know that he's married but they do not know that it's with me.
"uhm. i did not set up any appointment but i can show you my id, will that do?" i suggested. she hesitated for a bit before nodding so i showed her my id.
"mr. jeon taehyung?" she asked.
"yep. that's me." i answered while smiling.
"how are you related to mr. jeon?" she asked while typing something in her computer.
"i'm his husband." i replied which made her shock and look at me with wide eyes. i can't blame her. jeongguk hasn't really introduced me to anyone as his husband.
"but i thought that he's married to ms. choi?" she whispered to herself, clearly confused.
"ms. choi?" i asked which made her mouth agape, not expecting me to hear what she said earlier.
"who's ms. choi?" i repeated. i can sense that she's nervous right now. but i don't care, i wanna know who's this ms. choi that she's talking about.
"mrs. jeon- i mean ms. choi jieun." she answered, which made my body go numb.
"mr. jeon introduced us to her as his wife so all of us know that ms. choi is his wife." i was shocked. i couldn't move any part of my body. i didn't realized that i was crying until the woman called me.
"m-mr. jeon." she called.
"i-i'm okay." i said.
"since when?" i asked.
"when did he introduced her?" i cleared my question for her.
"it was when i was newly hired, four years ago." she answered, my knees collapsed, i was on the floor.
