TW//This chapter contains graphic self-harm and Suicide baiting.

{Flashback}

After his mom left Izuku rushed to the bathroom. He felt sick to his stomach. How could she say that to him? He's her only child and this is how she treats him! Izuku covered his ears as he cried.

"No. No. No. No. No." Izuku tried to shake the dark thoughts from his head.

I can't give in to my urges. I'm a good person. I'm going to be a hero. I can't do that. I can't. I can't. I can't. Don't give in. Don't give in. Don't give in. Damnit Izuku, don't give in!

His mother's words echoed in his mind, "You are worthless to me."

No I'm not.

"You have no use living under my roof."

Mom, please don't do this.

"I hate you Izuku!"

You don't mean that. You're lying, you love me. I'm your son. Just say that you love me.

"I hope you commit suicide."

Izuku tightly gripped the sink as he emptied the contents of his stomach. He turned on the water and started to rinse out his mouth. He panted heavily as he looked at the mirror in front of him.

Behind him was another version of him covered in blood, a sinister smile on its face. Izuku quickly turned around frantically making sure he was alone.

"N-no! I told you to leave me alone!" Izuku yelled out.

"How can I leave you alone when I'm apart of you? We're the same person Izuku, stop talking to yourself." A voice filled his mind.

Izuku turned back and started to repeatedly hit himself in the head.

"No. No. No. No. Get out. Get out. Get out. Get out of my head!"

"You're hurting yourself Izuku," The voice laughed from behind him.

"Shut up!!" Izuku screamed, punching the mirror.

The figure started to laugh maniacally, its face split between all the fragments.

"You can't taunt me if I can't see you," Izuku chuckled dryly and grabbed a piece of glass.

"Silly boy, you can never get rid of me. I'm the real you, the you that you try to keep hidden. How long will you be able to hold yourself back? How long will you keep lying to yourself?

It's only a matter of time before you crack. Then you won't be able to hold back anymore. Just admit it, Izuku Kacchan, mom, the kids at school, the teachers who abandoned us. You want them all to die for what they did to us."

"It doesn't matter, I'm going to be a hero. I have to forget about those thoughts. But first I need to get rid of you." Izuku smiled widely.

"You don't want to do that Izuku,"

He then took the glass and stabbed it into his eye. Izuku let out an ear-piercing scream and dropped to the floor. He started to thrash and roll around in agony.
