Midoriya Izuku was dead, that day two people fell. Only one survived. Izuku wasn't made of sludge, there was no way he could survive the fall.

The Bakugos enter the private waiting area, a grim expression on their faces after they just had to tell Hisashi to come home because of his son's death.

They noticed Katsuki crying and Masaru walks over sitting beside him, rubbing his back and comforting him as Mitsuki sits on the other side of him.

"W-What- What do I do? I-I don't know what to do anymore?! I mean he's not-" Katsuki cries more.

"Let's just take it one step at a time ok? Let's just take it one step at a time," Masaru says trying to calm the boy.

Mitsuki looks down, she hated to admit that it was hard to look at her son now. How could she bare to look at him when she no longer saw her ambitious and strong little boy but a murderer?

"We'll- we'll get you some help ok?" She said lowly.

Katsuki lets out a pained sob, "I can't even- I can't even say I'm sorry! I can't even tell him I'm sorry! And there's no excuse for that- it's just not right," his voice faltered.

Katsuki chokes on a sob, "I hate myself now, I hate it," he brakes down in his father's arms.

As rain started to pour everyone began leaving. Hisashi stood in front of Izuku's grave, tears and rain cascading down his face. In his fist, he tightly gripped a sheet of paper and a tape recorder. The rain stopped and a thumping sound filled his ears. Hisashi turned to see Shugo now holding an umbrella above his head.

"I'm so sorry," She said, tears running down her face.

Hisashi started to break down, his eyes full of pain.

"H-he said it wasn't my fault. He told me not to blame myself but I do. I left him here. I thought if I took the job in America things would be better. I was sending home so much money and gifts.

He said that everything was ok, he said he was happy. Why didn't I notice he was faking it? I'm supposed to be his father so how come I didn't know?! If only I stayed things would be different. Oh God, why didn't I stay?!" Hisashi cried.

Shugo hugged the man as the other funeral attendees could only watch solemnly. The service was over and the rain was pouring down heavily. Even so some stayed, they wouldn't dare leave a grieving parent like that. At least some people still had a heart.

"Don't say that, I haven't known him long but I know he never once blamed you. He wanted you to live your life rather than worry about him. He said that there was no one in this world that he loved more than you.

He said that he was happy you left. That no matter how much it hurt being away from you he was glad. I'm sure that right now he's happily looking down on you." Shugo said in tears.

Hisashi nodded and wiped his eyes, "Thank you...for being a light for him. You being there meant so much to him. You made him so happy, you made his life bearable." Hisashi informed.

Izuku's note told him everything he needed to know.

"I enjoyed my time with him too, I was  an orphan so it was nice having someone to love and care for. Because of him, I got to experience what it was like to have family. I'm forever grateful for that." She smiled.

Their moment was quickly ruined by a late Inko. Not only did she miss her son's funeral but she had the nerve to show up with some man. Hisashi felt nothing but anger and hatred towards his wife. How dare she?? Hisashi placed the items in Shugo's hands. He then made his way over to Inko startling her.
