You glared at the two guys holding you down. You felt fire surrounding you. It burned the Vampire Hunters and they let go of you. You go up and your eyes flashed a lighter red.
"What's with her?!" The hunters shouted, they backed up away from you. You tackled the hunter who was closer to you. You slightly opened your palm, a ball of fire floated above it. You held the guy down with one hand, as if you knew what you were doing. Then you slowly brought down the hand that controlled the fire into the man's face, burning it. You felt a wicked smile spread across your face. The man screamed in pain, he vanished into ash and into thin air. You got up and you were surrounded, Tao was still sprawled on the ground, he looked at you with disbelief. The hunters were holding him down still.
"Let him go..." You ordered, the men hesitated but didn't budge. You glared at them as you opened your hand revealing your palm, a fire forming a shape of a dome. The fire surrounded the guys around Tao. You quickly closed the fire dome, closing the fire into the men, they shrieked in pain as the fire grew bigger and they turned to ash, slowly falling through the floor.
"Retreat..." Said one of the guys, the other hunters obeyed and ran out of there. You turned to look at Tao, his face full of disbelief. You felt all of a sudden weak again, your eyes changing back to brown, you felt your canine teeth shrinking to it's normal size. Tao got up, your legs felt limp. Your knees buckled and you fell, Tao was fast enough to catch you though.
"What am I?" You asked, you felt your eyes losing strength, before you knew it you had fainted.
"Why do you have the same ring I have?"
"Tao! I'm home!" His aunt walked in and jumped when she saw you.
"Who is she?" His aunt asked.
"Aunt... She's an unawakened vampire and we need to train her." Tao pointed out, his aunt looked more relaxed.
"I was wondering why you brought home a human..." She said, she smiled at you, a warm one. You smiled back.
"I'm Tao's aunt, Min Ah..." She said, she gave you a wink.
"Aunt... She's going to have to live with us... It's too dangerous for her to stay at the orphanage, she might go out of control..." Tao explained, you stared at Min Ah intensely. She nodded.
"Yeah... Get ready, I'll go to your orphanage tomorrow and i'll bring your things... Just relax tomorrow, you guys don't have school tomorrow right?" She said, Tao nodded.
"It's the weekend..." Tao pointed out, his aunt nodded.
"You both'll have to share a room..." Min Ah pointed out, she shrugged.
"It's not like you're family... Yet." She added and winked at you again. You weren't sure which way she saw you and Tao. But you weren't interested in him, atleast that's what you think.
"Sleep guys..." She said, you nodded.
"Ah... And you have to use the same bed..." She said before closing the door of her room.
"Is she married?" You asked, Tao nodded.
"Ohh.. That's why we're sharing a room.. Great..." You mumbled under your breath. Tao pushed you into his room, you caught your balance and glared at him, your vision went to a shade of red. Scared, you shook your head and opened your eyes, they were back to normal.
"Are you okay?" Tao asked, he was worried. You shook your head again from the pain and held up your hand to keep him away from you. You felt a sudden coldness and couldn't stop shivering.
"Fuck... It's cold..." You said through long breaths, you stumbled to the ground as your legs numbed. Tao ran up to you and set you on his bed. He put a thick blanket on top of you, you still didn't stop shivering. He took off his shirt, surprising you.
"What are-" he cut you off.
"Sharing body heat... Dummy." Tao interrupted, he got in under the blanket covers and wrapped his arms around you, letting his body heat warm you up. You brought your hands up to your lips and tried blosing hot air into it, unfortunately it didn't work.
"Angh... So cold..." You said weakly, Tao held you tighter. You could hear his heartbeat, you fell asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
