Sly Cooper And The New Visitor (Slow updates)

31) Romania

(Y/N) POV

I take a deep breath and use my blue rebreather. That rope around my neck really did a trick to my pipes. Bentley immediately putted me on the passenger seat of the van and banned me from going anywhere until my breathing is back to normal.

''Wait, lassy. You are telling me, that the crazy las that chased you all, ran through the walls?'' Ask Henriette, leaning on the seat to better look at me with her one eye. I told them what I saw when Sly made DuBois swing into the building.

''It is the truth.'' I say a little wheezy and got some shiver down mine spine. ''She ran through each wall on each room in that building, until the end, where she jump out of the window and grabbed into the staff, catching my right hand.''

''I have never meet anyone like her.'' Admit Sly, also having some shiver down his spine.

''And I fear we will meet her again.'' I mumble out loud.

''We are here.'' Interrupt Murray and slowly stop the van near a cliff. We flied in the van directly towards Romania, after getting to the train station, where the ancestors were waiting for us. We all got outside to look at the city beside the cliff, with a huge castle next to the city.

''Wow, that is the castle Vlad Dracula used to live.'' I said amazed at the castle.

''And is now the home for Mirage.'' Inform Bentley and make sure we got the right address. Bentley got it from one of the shipment books Sly stole back in Japan. They all got send here, to Romania.

''Who is this Vlad Dracula? Was he a king?'' Ask Galleth a little curious, mainly because of the size of the castle. I sadly shook my head.

''A brutal person, who impaled anyone who was against him. Even eat lunch while hearing the dying peoples final breath slip out. Also drink their blood than wine for his lunch.'' I explain and got some weird looks from mostly the ancestors. ''What? It was all in the history class.''

''Well, we need to get inside.'' Says Sly and change the subject back to the castle.

''The change of this place being heavenly guarded, is high.'' Point out Bentley the obvious and pull out his helicopter. ''I am gonna have a look through the sky. It is better than risking the enemy from seeing any of us.'' Bentley control the helicopter up and towards the city. He have a big screen so that we can all see what the helicopter captures. I take another breath through my rebreather before noticing we are missing one.

''Hey, where is Tennessee?'' I ask a little worried and walk back to the van, to look at the back. I spot the cowboy ancestor sleeping, leaning against a sleeping Tigress, but his expression is worrying. He looks like he is in pain. I walk over to him and carefully shake him awake. But he is not budging, so I quickly get out of the van to get the others. ''Guys, I think there is something wrong with Tennessee.''

''What do you mean, (Y/N)?'' Ask Junior and come closer. Apparently he know a little bit about medic. I just signal him to come with me to the van, but when we near it, jump out my three animal friends out of the van. They run right towards me and Tigress go into a guarding position in front of me.

''What is wrong, buddies?'' I ask confused of my animal buddies behavior. They were just sleeping.

''Ugh, (Y/N). What is going on?'' Ask Sly and walk towards us.

''I-I don't know.'' I said honest and look towards the van. It shakes a little bit until the doors burst opens and Tennessee steps out.

''Kid? Your alright?'' Ask Sly a little concerned, since Tennessee is looking down and is a little slobby. But the only answer we get is a growl. And it is the type of growl that I recognize.

''Watch out.'' I warn just in time for Tennessee to leap at us. Tigress growl and try to protect me, while I cradle Remmy. Tennessee's body keep flinching and he end up being on all four. My warning luckily got the others attention.

''What is ye doing, Tennessee?'' Ask Galleth and is ready with a sword to fight.

''It is more like, what is happening too him.'' Point out Bentley, analyzing Tennessee's behavior.

''I know what is happening.'' I called out worried for Tennessee's safety. ''He is going savage, just like others around the world. Don't hurt him.''

''Savage? But how?'' Ask Murray confused and push Tennessee away from him. Everyone circle around him, so he won't suddenly run off.

''We can figure that out later, let's capture him before he runs off.'' Says Sly, ready his cane to knock Tennessee out. I gasp as the other ancestor think the same. They can't hurt him. Their canes are made out of metal, well except for Rioichi's. A hit from them can give servere injuries. 

''Wait.'' I called out and put Remmy down. ''We don't have to hit him with a metal cane. I know a better way to capture him.''

''Then do it, girl.'' Complain Salim to me, being his retired self. I just pat Tigress head to get her attention.

''Tigress. Tag.'' I order her and point at Tennessee. Tigress went into hunting position and circle around Tennessee, who does the same thing. If Tigress need to win on first try, then I need to distract Tennessee. If he is going savage and is doing those animal stance, does it probably mean that he is like a normal racoon from my world, so the animal instinct might work for distraction.  I look to my right to look at Junior and got an idea. I take off his necklace and step into the ring. ''Oooh, Tennessee. Look at what I got.'' I shake the necklace to make some clinking noises. And as tought, look Tennessee my way, giving Tigress an opening. She jump right at Tennessee and keep him down, which gives me an opening to knock him out. I kneel in front of them and reach for his neck. Tennessee did try to bite me, but I moved my hand away in time and then pinch a nerve, knocking him unconscious. ''It is safe now.''

''Woah, what did ya do las?'' Ask Slaigh a little impressed.

''Just pressed a nerve on the neck. I can't exactly explain how it works, but I just discovered it by petting some racoon from my world.'' I explain and signal for Tigress to move. Even giving her a compliment for doing such a good job. ''Let's get Tennessee back in the van.''

''What could have made him become like this?'' Wonder Bentley out loud as Murray carried Tennessee back into the van, until we find a hideout. I just look sadly at Tennessee's unconscious body, when I notice the bandage.

''The shot.'' I exclaim shocked, getting some confusing looks, while getting into the van to find a hideout. ''Think of it. Tennessee was the only one to get hit in Japan. Bentley never found the bullet, believing it fell out while escaping. And to top it all, was the shot from Sakamoto, who works with Mirage. This might also mean that Mirage is also the one, who made other become savage around the world.''

''That is some heavy accusation.'' Commend Bentley at that, but didn't exactly turn my theory down.

''But it might explain everything.'' I said back, getting some nods from the turtle.

''If it is the case, then we need to figure out what is making them go savage.'' Says Bentley curious and go through his computer. I think for a moment for myself, taking a seat beside my animals and backpack. 

''For some reason, do I feel like I know the answer... But what was it again?'' I mumble to myself, feeling bad that I don't remember. But I have a feeling I have done this before.
