Chapter 13

Nat's POV:
"I don't know what you're talking about," Steve refutes still playing dumb.
"Either you tell me your side or I purely listen to theirs and cut you out of my life permanently. Your choice," I reason.
"This is all Y/N. She messed with your head. I've done nothing wrong," He lies.
"Why is your issue only with Y/N? I was with Wanda too but she doesn't bother you. Why?" I challenge him.
"It's just different," Steve replies.
"How?" I want to know.
"Because it was always her name you were screaming. And not once do you scream mine. You look like it's a chore. You look disinterested and unbothered," He explains.
"But that's not her fault. That's yours. You're not attentive you barely look at me. The only time you seem to enjoy it is when your eyes are closed. Who are you thinking about Steve because it sure as hell isn't me?" I yell angrily. Just then the door knocks.
"Hey Steve are you ready for training?" Bucky checks and Steve looks back in shock.
"Holy shit. How did I? This is your secret. You've been cheating on me while being extremely possessive. Why didn't you just tell me? First and foremost you're my best friend," I sigh.
"Because you were my one chance at being 'normal'. If it was going to be anyone it was you. But now because you're still so in love with Y/N that's all gone. I've lost you because of her. I knew this would happen, that's why I did what I did. I never wanted to kill her not really just make her forget you so we could move on. So she wasn't pulling you back in. I tried so hard to be good enough for you to love but in the end I lost you and myself," Steve explains.
"None of this is her fault. She has forgotten Wanda so if I were you I'd leave for a while. If she sees you she will kill you and I won't stop her this time. You took the woman I love away from me. You took my family away from me. You took my freewill and confidence away from me. And I will never forgive you for that. It's the 21st century Steve. No one cares.
Just be honest with yourself. You worrying about being 'normal' does not excuse all the things you did to try to control me," I shout finally feeling myself.
"I know and I'm sorry. I did this wrong. And I hurt you and I hid Bucky. It wasn't fair to either of you," Steve seems sincere but I'm too mad.
"No it wasn't. Now I've got to try and bring Y/N's memories back so if you excuse me get the fuck out of my room. Both of you," I demand.

I walk back in just as Y/N starts to wake up in Wanda's arms. We can get our girl back but I also need time to myself to remember how to be independent making my own decisions. And shit Dani.
"Hey," Y/N rasps.
"You got very comfortable quickly," I tease.
"You're more than welcome to join us," Y/N invites me.
"Bruce is hovering outside waiting to scan you so I better not but soon," I deny. She pouts a little before kissing Wanda's forehead to wake her up as she'd done thousands of times before. Wanda smiles as she wakes up.
"Bruce is going to hulk out if we don't get her scanned and I need to talk to you Wanda. We'll be back when you're done Y/N," I assure her. I signal for Bruce to come in. Wanda and I both kiss her forehead gently as Wanda reverts the bed back into a hospital one so Bruce can wheel it to get her Scanned.

Wanda's POV:
I follow a very determined Nat out to our old house where she sits down on our old bed tapping the space next to me.
"I got the truth. And I'm such an idiot for not believing you. This is what he wanted. Her to forget our relationship. Us to be torn apart. I'm sorry Wanda. I was such a bitch. You know I trust and love you so much," Nat apologises.
"I know. And it's not your fault. You were being controlled. What are you going to do now?" I ask nervously.
"We broke up but I need some time to get my independence back and myself back before I rush into being with you both... if you'll still have me," Nat mumbles nervously.
"Hmm I'll think about it," I tease earning a nudge from her. I push her back on the bed straddling her pinning her arms above her head.
"We'll always want you Mommy," I whisper against her lips feeling brave. Nat wraps her legs around my waist flipping me over.
"That's good to know princess," Nat teases trailing her hands up my thigh.
"Don't be a tease Natasha. You want your independence fine but please don't tease me or it'll be 2 against 1," I warn her. She smiles at the challenge.
"Game on," Nat smirks pressing her knee into my centre. Fuck.
"Please," I beg.
"Please what?"
"Anything do anything I need you," I state desperate.
"Patience Wanda. Our number one priority at the moment is Y/N. Second is finding out how to get her to drop Dani. And then third we will be making you scream over and over again. How does that sound princess?" Nat checks playing with my waistband.
"Incredible," I mumble breathless.
"Good girl. Now help me select some things to take to rejog Y/N's memory. And maybe we should get Tony to call Dani to explain what's going on with her memory," Nat determines.
"I'm in."
