And fucking crazy it was for the past few days Red Hood had been meeting with her on that rooftop, giving her info on his latest patrol. Since in his mind there was no time for training he at least wanted her to be as prepared for what to expect as he could get her.

Today was a long day, Double T's was swamped all day, she had to deal with so many rude customers, including ones that were pervs, and to top it all off while he was alright now Richie got sick during the middle of the lunch rush.

This made her have to do double duty between looking after him, and running around. She was thankful that by the end of her shift Richie was at least feeling better to where she could give him one final bowl of soup for dinner, then send him to bed, telling him that she had to head out but she'd be one phone call away, hoping that he'd be fine throughout her mission, god knows what Red Hood would do if Ali's ringtone ruined whatever he had planned for her tonight. She shakes that thought out of her head, shuddering at it then heads to her own room, she goes to change, but instead is greeted by a box with a note on top of it that sat on her bed.

Ali looks at the note to see "A little something to play hero in tonight"- Hood she opens the box and is shocked to see a brown leather jacket that matched his, a purple domino mask, purple thigh holsters, a purple knife holder, and a taser. She smiled, grabbing a white tank, her dark jeans, and her black boots. She was so excited to go on her first mission.

She went to the exact location he told her to go to, she was confused when he wasn't there to greet her, but he was obviously somewhere he could see her as he talked with her through her ear piece.

"All right Outlaw let's see how well you do. This is the first night of your training. So I'm going to need you to concentrate and do exactly as I say. Remember my rules," he reminds her, making Ali repeat his little set of rules in her mind in an attempt to calm herself down. She never pictured herself getting in the vigilante business, let alone becoming partners with someone as drastic and gruff as Red Hood.

"This is a life or death situation. I don't have time to coddle you or patch up your wounds if you get an owie," he mocks, making her chuckle, but also roll his eyes at his choice of words.

Batman wouldn't approve of this, but Batman wouldn't approve of a lot of things that I do," he says in an annoyed tone, but Ali could hear the tone of hurt under everything else.

"So you keep saying this, makes me wonder if you really want to go along with this whole thing," Ali ponders.

"We have to do this. It's the only way to get you ready to take on someone like The Joker. We'll take on smaller criminals for now and in time we'll move on to more substantial criminals," he replies in such a determined tone that makes Ali nod, taking it all in.

"What about the br-", Ali starts to question before Jason catches her drift and answers.

"Arkham's still reeling from that, Arkaham's still reeling from that breakout that they had," he informs her, scoffing to himself before continuing.

"I knew I should have shot that psychiatrist in the head when I had the chance, but of course, Batman wouldn't let me," he complains, honestly scaring Ali a bit, assuming he meant Harley Quinn, before she became well Harley Quinn, causing chaos and terror wherever she went. Even dragging some girl, Trickster, into the mix, making the girl who was around Ali's age her protégé.

"You don't think he has a reason or a whole point to his beliefs?" she questions, already knowing the answer, seriously whoever the Hood was he was so burned by Batman, it was such a personal vendetta. Ali can't even begin to think of what happened between the two of them.

"No, I don't think that he has a point," he spits.

"Why not?"

"Because our justice system is flawed. We see these criminals just running around and you know what ends up happening to them?," he asks, Ali sighs getting his point.
