*Chris's pov*

We had just gotten to the restaurant and were now walking into it

I made a reservation in a quiet private area so we didn't have to worry about people coming up to us and stuff

"Hey reservation for Evans" I tell the waitress

"Right this way" she says smiling

"Thank you" I say as we all sit down

After we ordered our drinks y/n spoke

"This place is so nice" she says looking around in shock making the rest of us laugh softly

"Yeah it's a pretty fancy dancey place dorito" Robert said smirking

"Thank you for giving me a new nickname for him" y/n said with an evil grin

"Yeah thanks Robert" I saying playfully glaring at him

"Any time"

"Anyways So y/n you excited for grade 9?"

"Nope" she says popping the 'p'

"Yeah I wasn't either" Tom said

"I mean like who would be? School is horrible unless you have friends and nice teachers"

"Dont you have that group of friends?" I ask looking at her

"Yeah but it's different we aren't friends friends we just sometimes sit beside eachother and talk its- you know what it's to hard to explain"

"I mean I guess there's Louis but he also has his own friends" she adds

"Ooooo who's Louis" Scar and Lizzie say trying to embarrass her

"Oh he's my friend, he started hanging out with me and Olivia a couple weeks before she left" she says oblivious to what they were trying to do

"He was pretty annoying at first he kept poking me and asking to borrow my pencils and asking for answers on the test. Like bro you should've studied or something" she said making as laugh

The waitress had came and gave us our drinks while asking if we were ready to order

Everyone nodded and told her their order and then she was off again

"So what have you been up to so far? Are you having a fun summer" Robert asks

"Well my mum works alot so I've been either sleeping walking or watching movies and going places with him" she says pointing to me

"What does your mom do?" Seb asks

"She's a lawyer and summer's are usually really busy for her but when she has a day off or gets home early we always have a movie night or a girls day" she says smiling

"That sounds nice" lizzie says

"Yeah we should plan a day where us girls go out for the day and go shopping and get our nails done and watch movies" Scarlett adds making y/n eyes glow with excitement

"Yeah that would be fun" she says smiling

The waitress came over and brought our food

Me and Y/n got chocolate chip pancakes with fruit on the side

*y/n's pov*

We started to eat and oh my god these pancakes were to die for I've never had pancakes this good usually whenever me or mum try to make them we burn them

While eating we talked about our summer plans and if anyone had any projects coming up

Chris told them how I was starting to think I wanted to start acting and I just slumped into my chair

"Ooooo so you like acting huh?" Robert said

"Yeah whenever I was in a play my favourite part was getting out there in costume and make up and putting on the best performance after all the hard work we did" I said sitting up straight

"Someones got ants in her pants" Tom says in his accent

"I moved like twice" I laugh

*time skip to at Chris's*

We had just pulled up to Chris's house because the others had to drop off their stuff before we could do anything else

"Guest rooms are up stairs pick whatever ones you want" Chris says walking into the house

I took off my shoes and just looked around in awe

It was so nice and homey feeling in here there was a nice beautiful piano in the corner of the room where Chris was sitting and beside it a window with trees outside it

I slowly walked into the room running my fingers along the piano as I walked by looking at the pictures hanging up

"Do you know how to play?" Chris asks

"Hmm" I hummed looking away from the pictures

"Do you know how to play the piano?"  He repeated

"Oh a little Yeah, I know a couple of songs" I say smiling

"You should play them" he said coming over to the piano moving the stuff off the seat

"You sure I don't want to break something" I say nervous

"I think your good unless you have some secret super solider serum" he chuckled making me laugh

"Okay you've been warned" I say sitting down

I started to play 'it's been a long long time' quietly singing the lyrics, it used to be my grandparents on my dad's side favourite song and they would always play it and make me dance with them

I got a little sad thinking about them and how they just stopped talking to us and the next thing I know is the song ends and I move on to the next song I know how to play 'married life' from the movie 'up' humming along

Without realizing the others had come down to find the cause of the music and stopped when they saw me playing the piano smiling to themselves

I had ended the song and was met with multiple people clapping making me Confused

Once I turned around I saw the others and got a little shy looking at floor as if it was the most interesting thing In the world

"You said you knew a little not full blown songs that was amazing" Chris said hugging me

"Yeah that was beautiful" lizzie said making the others agree

"Do you know anymore?" Mackie asked

"Oh uh yeah I know 'I see the light', 'beauty and the beast', 'twinkle little star', and 'marry had a little lamb'" I say smiling shyly

"Oh wow that's a lot" seb says shocked

"Could you play them for us" Tom asks getting a nudge from Robert

"Only if you want to of course" he added

"Sure why not" I say turning my attention back to the piano

For the next couple of hours we watched movie's, played games, and played the piano

Apparently they had also heard me singing so they got me to do karaoke

Hey lovelys sorry for not updating I've had so many tests this week plus work 🙄 ugh life am I right

For my school the grade 11s and 10s have to do the literacy test since us grade 11s didn't do it last year and on top of that I've had a test in both my classes already and I have another one on Friday but I thought I would quickly make a chapter and post it

Also in the last chapter I said dinner but i meant breakfast lol

I'm supposed to be having all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed on the 18th so I will be taking some time to recover but if I'm not in that much pain and I'm bored I may write something but it will probably be bad as I will be on a lot of medication
