prologue

The end of family.

'Leave'

She held no hesitance as she moved to pick up her clothing from the floor, the man laying on their bed besides her stared wide-eyed.

Quickly pulling on all her clothing she ushered the naked man out of the bed and out into the hallway, not caring if the children see the man half naked.

It's not like they would even remember it anyways.

Her breathing was heavy but she held a look of no remorse in her cold and calculating brown eyes.

'Leave' he said again, harsher than before.

He grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the room, down the staircase, and into the living room where a little boy was playing with a small toy train.

'I'm not leaving without my children, without my money' she said threateningly.

'Take your stupid money, take anything, but she's staying with me'

'No she's not - '

'Yes she is - '

'I'm her mother - '

'A HORRIBLE ONE!'

'HOW DARE YOU!'

Tempers were rising along with the volumes of their voices.

'I have enough evidence to put you in Azkaban, and if you try to take my daughter away from me I won't hesitate to use them.'

'You wouldn't dare...'

'Don't tempt me'

Sighing in defeat she picked up the gurgling child by her feet. 'He's not your biological child, he is staying with me.'

'Fine, but my child is staying with me - '

'Fine'

'now leave,'

He watched as her mane of curly brown hair bounced up and down with every step she took, the baby boy in her arms was looking over her shoulder to the man who waved goodbye at the boy sadly.

Turning around he made his way into his daughter's nursery, it was a mess, scattered toys and blankets were left discarded anywhere and everywhere the only place clean was the crib in which his baby girl laid peacefully asleep. Her little chest rising up and down, little snores floating out her tiny mouth.

'Let's go my princessa -'

He tucked her close to his chest cradling her head. 'We're going back home now.'
