EP. 9 - Bibbidi, Babbidi, Buu

Shin had a look of panic, but he shook his head to contain his composure. He had to follow the plan. They wouldn't resist Gohan's energy.

"What's going on?" Goku asked seriously.

"Ah, well, there's no point in keeping it a secret anymore," Shin clenched his fist. "I am the Supreme Kai, and Kibito and I are here on a mission."

After their surprise, Piccolo narrowed his eyes. "This mission must be pretty important to involve Supreme Kai. It's bad, isn't it?"

Shin offered a nervous smile. "I will explain later. But for now, please don't interfere with the match between Kibito and Gohan, no matter what. I must make haste to find Selene," he slightly bowed before hurrying down the halls, sensing for the saiyaness.

He came to a halt when he bumped into a little girl. He crouched down to help her up. "Goodness, my sincerest apologies."

Yucca shrugged him off. "I'm fine," she dusted herself off and eyed him. "Are you a competitor for the adult division?"

"Yes," Shin quickly nodded.

"Have you seen a woman named, um, Selene?" Yucca asked. She was worried since she was sure Niya's desire to help Videl would persuade Ayata into action.

Shin gasped. "You know Selene?"

The saiyaness nodded.

He took a step back to look her over. He noticed her battle armor and her tail. "You wouldn't happen to be a saiyan, would you?"

Yucca tensed. 'He must be after the Red Jewel,' she thought. "And what if I am?" she scowled.

Shin offered a smile, having read her thoughts. "I am not a perpetrator," he assured. "I spoke with the Jewel Wielder earlier. She agreed to help me with an important mission. I am Shin, the Supreme Kai of the Universe."

Yucca was not expecting that response. She quickly sank to a knee and bowed her head. "M-My apologies, my lord! I will serve at your every request!"

"Please stand, child. We must find Selene," Shin eyed around.

Yucca rose to her feet. "Um, about that..."

He gave her a curious look.

"Yucca!"

They both turned to see another little girl.

Niya smiled at them. "Did I win already?"

Yucca nervously watched as Shin noted the Red Jewel on Niya's golden tiara. His brows scrunched in confusion.

The Princess glanced between them. "Um, who are you, Mister?"

Yucca cleared her throat, "My lord, this is Princess Niyata, the current Jewel Wielder..."

Shin's eyes widened as he began to put the pieces together. "Princess, may I shake your hand?"

Niya noted how worried her friend was, so she obliged without question. "Sure," she shook his hand.

With a shake of her hand, Shin felt she had a kind nature and read her memories to discover the legend of the Red Jewel had become realized. Niya was the Reincarnation of the 'Goddess' Ayata, Master Wielder of the Red Jewel. 'Selene' was Ayata, using Niya's body to obtain a physical form.

Shin smiled, "Your kind nature and strength will be of great use. I am glad to learn of this. I'm honored. Please call me Shin, Princess."

Niya felt she could trust him, so she smiled back. "Okay, Shin. Please call me Niya then."
