I hit my alarm clock and get up, just then my assistant comes in opening the blinds.

"*groans* 5 more minutes."

"Miss, you have a meeting."

"*sigh* Agenda."

"8 am meeting about the new launch. 10 am hair appointment 12 am coffee with your mother. And for the rest of the date paperwork."

"*sigh* Ok, let me just get ready."

She nods and exits my bedroom. I head starting to the shower I then get changed (image above is outfit) and head downstairs. I grab my bag and head to the office with my assistant. I was adding some lipstick when tells me the rest of my schedule.

"Ok, thanks, and also about the plane?"

"All reserved. Want me to come?"

"No. You need a break and need to spend time with your family."

"R-Really?"

"Mhm. Break for a month."

"Thank you!"

She hugs me and I hug her back. We get off and my secretariat gives me my coffee and breakfast. I enter my office and go over some things.

"Remember release date is....?"

"31 of November for the Winter release and the Christmas one on December 1."

"How about Black Friday deals?"

"2 for 3?"

"On what?"

"Lipsticks?"

"Bingo! Ok, now can you pass me the folder for the new year ones?"

She nods and I go over the folder. We then head to the meeting and review the products and release dates. After that, I go back and interview some people for front desk.

I got to the cafe and sit down while waiting for my mom I thought I saw a familiar face. Eventually, mom comes.

"Hi, sweetie."

"Hi, mom."

We hug and sit down.

"How are you doing?"

"Ugh, your dad hasn't changed and your brother *sigh*."

"What's wrong about him?"

"Your father left him in charge while he's in Houston, and it's been AWFUL!"

"That bad?"

"Mhm, your brother does not understand the world of business. But you?"

"*sigh* Mom, I already told you I want NOTHING to do with dad."

"I know, but you're just so good and actually understand it. Anyway, more about you."

"Good, new makeup launching, and look out for black Friday deals."

"Ohhhh. So you're going?"

"Mhm. Why?"

"Didn't you hear?"

"Remember Trender?"

"Of course he and I would take some fabric and play around with Splendor."

We laugh and I add some sugar to my tea.

"Well, he started his own clothing business."

"Oh, really? I'm so happy for him."

"Mhm, he moved to L.A however a friend told me he's coming back."

"Mom."

"Yes?"

"What happened to Cordelia?"

She nearly chokes and looks at me.

"*sigh* I don't know. After she and Elias got divorced many said she moved and started a new life, but others said she just... *sigh* no one knows. No one knows where she is nor if she's even alive. I tried communicating to her, but could never find her."

"Another thing remember the old town."

"Oh yeah. What about that crappy place? *sip*"

"Why did many of the people leave and die?"

"*sigh* I and Cordelia were just around...18 I believe. Remember the executions?"

"How could I forget them? I remember you two always casting protection spells on us."

"Well, one of the witches killed was Cordelia's mom her and other witches cast a spell on the land and people. However, the mayor."

"What about him?"

"After Cordelia's mom was killed she was so angry she cast a spell on his family."

"I see."

We keep on catching up and I had sworn I saw Cordelia.

"Bye, mom."

"Bye, baby."

"Want a ride?"

"No, thanks my driver will take me."

I nod and I head back to the company.

I was at my office late at night and felt someone watching me. Just then my assistant comes.

"Miss need anything?"

"No, thanks. Head home."

"You sure?"

"Mhm, rest."

She nods and leaves I keep on working and hear a woman sing.

"Hello?"

I take a sip of my coffee and then hear a familiar voice.

"Long time no see."

I turn behind me and find Cordelia.
