I woke up and I was in bed, my arm, legs, and back hurt. I look around and find Slender sitting on a chair, he was asleep and looked very tired. I looked at the calendar and it's been 2 days since the attack. A groan leaves my lips as I try to get comfortable, of course, wake up Slender. He wakes up and as soon as he sees I'm awake he goes to me. He hugs me tight and showers me in kisses.

"How are you? Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you need something?"

He holds me tight and he starts tearing up.

"S-Slender..."

I hug him back and hold him tight.

"I thought I lost you." He says between tears.

I tear up and kiss him, he kisses me back and holds me tight in his arms. It hurt me to know that I worry him, and that...it...it just hurt me seeing him cry. He places his forehead on mine and wraps his arms around my waist. He caresses them and kisses my forehead.

"*sniff*"

"Hey..." He says in a soothing voice.

He wipes my tears off and his large hands caress my cheeks.

"*sniff* I-I'm sorry I-I-I *sniff* I'm sorry."

"Hey... Don't apologize. Come here."

He hugs me tight and I sob into his shirt.

"*sobbing* I miss her."

"I know, I know."

"First, I failed her now I failed you."

"Lilith, look at me you did not fail your mother, and certainly did not fail me."

He holds me tight and keeps on comforting me until I fall asleep.

1 week later

I was on the couch going through my phone when Cordelia came and sat next to me.

Cor: "How are you doing?"

"Good, and you?"

Cor: "Same as always."

She and I warm up next to the bonfire when she brings up Elias.

Cor: "So, Elias?"

I turn to her and she looks at the bonfire.

"Did you want to?"

Cor: "Kill, punch, and torture him? Yes. However, at the same time, I didn't."

"How come? How come you didn't after he took you from them?"

Cor: "Well, he gave me them... and he made me a better person. Plus, why kill him when you can make him suffer for the rest of his life?"

We laugh and look at the fireplace.

Cor: "And your father?"

"Michael. Not father. He never was and never will be my father."

She places her arm on my shoulder and comforts me.

Cor: "So, how are you feeling after you...?"

"To be honest, I felt like if I got something off my back."

She smiles and we look at the fire.

Cor: "Need anything?"

"No, thanks. Is Slender in his office?"
