All the clawing and angry thrashing to be the king of the hill had finally reached it's tip and the highest peak had exploded throughout the school, it's lava seeping into all the students and effecting them with it's disease.

Everyone was pointing fingers, finding weaknesses, and going out of each others way to make their peers miserable. The nerds longed for the olden-day occasional torment, for it was nothing compared to the havoc being made at their school, the chaos where even the popular kids would beat each other up. The students had developed a conspiracist theorist paranoia and eyes glistened red with the fear of being the next social victim. The school had become a disatrous out-of-control nightmare.

Who was to blame for this cause? Who's satisfied smirk glistened in the background as the students tore themselves apart?

None other than the cunning devilsh boy himself, Richard.

Rich's hate for Dom had blossomed into a fiery pit of bitter disgust. Every little thing Dom did. A tilt of his head made Rich seeth inside. The words Dom said-in that stupid voice too, where he drew out his s's as if he were too cool!-set him off, the way he walked down the hall and all the girls stared with the upmost admiration made Rich want to strangle Dom. The all-too-good boy, Dom was a horrible creature to ever set foot in school, in Rich's opinion.

This was nothing, however, compared to the deep loathing he had developed for the hideous pale, fluffy haired boy that seemed to accompany Dom all the time. The boy who's laughs would ring along with Dom's down the halls. There was a third boy with a trollish face that would join them most of the time, but Rich didn't mind him. He wasn't the reason as to why Dom had started.....begun....to....create an almost acceptance in the group for other people. They never spoke poorly about anyone because Dom would kick off with  his annoying speech of "you don't know them personally, blah blah blah". This heroic talk either turned gears in their heads or made them roll their eyes-but Dom would always bring it up.

This made Rich spend nights walking along in the late day chewing tobacco in the most violent way to brainstorm. On a few occassions, he even saw the idiot Matthew watching the sunset as he wrote, or as he played guitar, or drank some little probably pansy refreshment. Seeing this made Rich tempted to run over and fight the boy, but this felt a much too barbaic solution and it would require getting his hands dirty without causing the amount of damage he wanted. Sure, maybe he could break Matt's nose, but then Matt would only become more respected in the school. Rich couldn't afford that. Richard's main goal, after all, was to sabatoge Dom's life, and this he would strive for.

Already, he convinced the bassists of Carnage Mayhem as they came and went to leave the band before they got in too deep, filling them with wretched lies to make them never even dream of returning to the group.

Rich convinced the popular kids that they should not be one massive accepting group, but that each smaller clique within it was the best and deserved to be at the very, very tipy top of the latter, that they deserved to be the ones who ruled the school. He went around talking to each trio or pairs of people who were popular and explained to them why they deserved to rule and told them that they worked so hard, and that they shouldn't just sit around being content where they were. Of course, to his pleasure, they took it all in as some new enlightenment. The plan resumed well as he watched these sectors start rows and battles and laughed to himself as they sniggered to each other. Then it caught on and influenced the school into one negative mass of hate. Well, not completely, there were still friends and buddies-such as Dom, Matt, and Tom-but they had to be careful to not mess with any other groups of kids or else they could get it-really get it.

To Rich's utter horror, Dom was in his group, and he felt this was the thing holding him back from ultimate power, especially since Dom occupied himself with losers when not with them. It wouldn't for long, though. Rich was a troublemaker at heart and would always take up any opputunities to claim the very things he wanted.
