Okay I'm making a slight alteration to the dialogue. Instead of exclaimed words being underlined, they will be capitalized. It looks better to the eye, but that's just my personal opinion. Now back to the story!

[3rd POV]

It was a lovely day. The sky was bright, clouds sprinkled the scenery here and there, and transports filled with Beacon's new first year students began their decent to the landing platform. The bridge was extended from the ship and connected to the machinery of the platform locking it into place. A large set of sliding double doors open to reveal a blonde boy with white armor and a sword at the hip, running to the nearest trashcan. Lukas, Ruby, and Yang all walk out of the ship. Lukas however, felt bad for the boy and stopped to make sure he was okay. After getting a quick thumbs up from him Lukas caught up with his two friends in an open courtyard as they take a second to take in the scene before them.

Ruby/Yang/Lukas: "Woooow."

Standing before them was Beacon Academy. Large archways of white stone surrounded the courtyard followed by a pond that was dead center of the area. The pathway before them lead to two large wooden doors that served as the entrance to the school ground. Trees of red and green decorated the ground as banisters lined the pathway displaying holographic flags. Just further down towards the doors was a statue dedicated to a huntsman and huntress standing victorious over a slain Grimm. Beyond that was a castle like structure with a huge tower standing over everything. Large green orbs seemed to float inside of it glowing brightly even in the presence of the daylight.

Yang: "The view from Vale's got nothin' on this!"

Lukas: "Absolutely."

Just then Ruby began to gasp as students passed by in front of her. Lukas and Yang look over to see stars in her eyes.

Lukas: "Ruby? You o-"

Ruby: "SIS! That kid's got a collapsible staff! And she's got a fire sword!"

Lukas stands their frozen from Ruby's "geek out" moment as Yang stops her younger sister from chasing down the unsuspecting girl. She pulls her back by her hood to the spot she was standing in.

Ruby: "Ow, ow."

Yang: "Easy there, little sister. They're just weapons."

Ruby: "Just weapons? They're an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us! Oh, they're so cool!"

Yang: "Well, why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?"

Ruby pulls out her condensed weapon from her back. It transforms into its scythe mode and she places it on her shoulder. Lukas moved slightly out of the way as to avoid getting his eye poked out.

Ruby: "Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose! I just, really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people, but better."

Lukas: "She does have a point. Weapons reflect the ones who forged them. You can tell a lot about their personality and fighting style with just a glance."

Yang: "Oh yeah? Prove it."

Lukas: "Alright. Let's take your weapon for example. Your gauntlets first signify that you care about your outward appearance, otherwise you wouldn't sport them as bracelets when not in use. The fact you choose to use a shotgun in them says that you have a big and explosive personality, much like the weapon in question. Many people would choose the shotgun as their favorite go to for CQC, but those who always choose that weapon as their first pick would suggest that they are also confident in themselves. Which brings it to your fighting style. You prefer to fight your opponent head on with your fists. That tells me that you prefer to face your opponents with nothing being held back. You like to look them in the eye and you like for them to see you. No secrets or hidden schemes. Just straight up honorable brawling."
