[3rd POV]

While all of the events involving Yang, Blake, and the others were transpiring on the ground. The trio comprised of one Jedi, an heiress, and a very "courageous" reaper. They were grabbing the feathers of the Nevermore for dear life. The very same Nevermore that Ruby whisked Lukas and Weiss onto against their wills. Ruby was looking over the back of the Nevermore they were on to get a good look of the forest. Lukas had his eyes closed and muttering nonsensical words to himself. Weiss was fuming as she was trying to not get blown off into the sky. The Grimm roared as its black wings cut through the sky over the Emerald Forest.

Weiss: "Ruby! Like I have said before, this was a terrible idea!"

Ruby: "We're fine! Stop worrying!"

Lukas: "We are so far beyond worrying Ruby! THIS IS PURE MADNESS!!!"

Ruby: "In a good way?"

Weiss: "In a bad way! In a VERY, BAD, WAY!"

Ruby: "Well why don't we just jump!"

Weiss/Lukas: "WHAT ARE YOU, INSANE?!"

Weiss and Lukas look ahead to where Ruby was supposed to be. All they found was just feathers. Both of them looked at each other with confusion. As Weiss and Lukas weighed their options the Nevermore that was playing unwitting ride for them made a sharp turn. A very sharp turn. Weiss closed her eyes and gripped the feathers harder as to not get thrown off by the bird. Lukas on the other hand; he was unfortunately was thrown off with feathers in his balled up fists. Weiss reopened her eyes to see she was now alone on the hide of the beast.

Weiss: "Oh, you insufferable little-!"

Meanwhile directly below them, Blake was gazing into the sky. Yang was looking off into the forest after hearing the sound of a girl screaming. Of course at the time they were not aware that is was Jaune was the source of that fearful screaming. Yang turned around to see her black bowed partner looking into the air. She tried to wave her hands in front of Blake to get her attention. 

Yang: "Blake did you hear that? What should we do?"

Blake looked over to Yang and pointed her finger into the sky. Yang raised her eyebrow questioning the motion. They both look into the air to see one Ruby Rose plummeting directly towards them. She held out of her arms trying to slow her fall, and before she made contact with the ground, the flying body of a screaming Jaune Arc intercepted Ruby midair. The two crashed into a tree nearby making Yang and Blake completely flabbergasted. Blake opened her mouth to speak but the sudden landing of Lukas in between her and Yang shocked her. Both of the girls let out a yelp of surprise. Lukas was slowly standing up, his joints popping, and groaning from the rough landing. Ruby shook her head and rubbed her temple. She crashed into the trunk of the tree and rested on one of the big branches. Blake looked over to Yang with a raised brow.

Ruby: *groans* "What was that?"

Jaune: *coughs* "Hey Ruby." 

Blake: "Did those two just fall from the sky?"

Yang: "I-"

Lukas, Yang, and Blake turned their attention to the tree line. Sounds of explosions filled the air with trees being toppled over. A little bit later, An Ursa came swinging out of the trees with something none of them could tell what it was. A large pink explosion came off its backside and the monster cried out a pain filled roar. As it toppled over Nora Valkyrie was seen whooping like a cowgirl and rolling off the shoulders of the beast. Ren was panting, resting against the dead monster.

Nora: "Awwww. It's broken."

Ren: "Nora, please. Don't ever do that again..."

Ren looked up to where Nora was on the beast. To his surprise she wasn't there anymore. In fact, she wasn't anywhere near him. Ren frantically looked around for his partner and lifelong friend. No one but Lukas noticed that she was now standing in the temple. Nora was ogling over a golden rook piece on one of the many pedestals. She grabbed it and put it on top of her head and was sporting a wide smile on her face.
