3 months after the 'incident'

They stared for a moment.

The familiar violet eyes looked like they had lost their vivid hue, and the soft curve of her small nose.

A matte black disposable mask covering the lower half of her face, hiding the full of her undeniably enchanting face.

She stood balancing on her right leg, her left gently crossed over, softly tapping the ground.

The black combat boots she wore had a small heel, adding height slightly to her short figure. Black thigh high socks sat comfortably on her lean legs, followed by a black skirt with red inner lining resting just above her mid thigh. A simple black cropped blazer with a high neck and red lining. Gold details that looked well placed, along with a crest that rested over her heart.

She stood there looking down towards her phone, her pearl white hair falling down to her waist, occasionally slipping into her line of sight before being pushed back behind her ears again.

She looked relaxed as she tapped away at her device in hand.

She stood 10 meters away from them, on the outside side of the cafe window. They weren't sure when or why they had started looking at the girl, and it was definitely going to be hard to explain if someone asked or called them out.

She was young, definitely in her teen years. Wearing her school uniform, most likely, and seemingly waiting for someone.

On the opposite side of the window sat an unlikely pair, teachers to be exact. They had stopped their conversation when they had caught sight of the girl.

Did they know her? They weren't exactly sure.

She lifted her head and pulled down her mask, revealing the remaining portion of her smooth fair toned face and small lips.

Not a second later she had turned to the right and held up her hands in a defensive stance. A boy ran straight into her causing her to lose her footing and fall backwards onto the cold concrete. He apologised profusely as she laughed at his antics, her smile soft and genuine. He helped the girl back up while she dusted off her skirt and listened to him ramble.

The boy was dressed in a similar colour scheme, black slacks and blazer, once again lined with red and gold. The simple yet professional looking crest over his heart. The boy had dirty blonde hair that leaned more towards the darker side, and captivating blue eyes.

Shortly after they were joined by 5 other people, consisting of 4 boys and another girl, all dressed similarly.

What school did that uniform belong to? Had they ever even seen it before?

The tallest male wore the same black slacks but lacked the blazer, instead wearing a black long sleeved dress shirt, but nonetheless the gold crest over his heart. His hair was close to that of a ravens, his eyes a light grey, but when reflected into the light showed glems of mauve. He looked put together and relaxed, clearing trying to keep order with the group around him.

Upon their arrival the newly present girl smacked the ramblin 'boy across the head, scolding him for being rude before going towards her shorter friend and checking for any injuries. The girl only stood a head or so taller, her golden blonde hair only rivaled by her almost glowy eyes. Once she was satisfied she walked back towards the dirty blonde and he slung an arm around her shoulders, only getting an eye roll in return.

The short female laughed at her supposed friend's antics as she was approached by another boy. He was definitely taller than her and had similar albino white hair, though his eyes held a saturated red colour, seemingly blending in with the lining of his uniform blazer.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and she locked hers around his and onto his biceps. They conversed for a bit among themselves and with the rest of their group before nodding towards the restaurant.

The boy's crimson eyes darted from the short girl in front of him to the group before he said something that made them all chuckled a bit. They looked so casual together, so calm and content.

The 2 dragged behind while their friends walked ahead towards the glass doors of the restaurant. 2 similar looking boys ran forwards first leading towards the door. The small difference between their kempt and unkempt chestnut hair the only tell between them. They bowed playfully towards their friends and their amber eyes looked up.

They group once again chuckled and continued on.

The violet eyed girl smiled as she turned away and pulled her mask back up once again covering part of her face.

They walked through the doors of the cafe, the calm atmosphere and pleasant smell taking over their senses.

They looked at the menu to their right, the couches and benches of people starting no less than 2 meters in front of them. Violet eyes scanned the cafe as her friends looked through the menus, seemingly unbothered by the choices.

Her violet hues found 2 pairs of eyes, the unmistakable yellow and bright blue hues staring back at her, deeply confused. The slight shake in her eyes could be seen before she tugged on the platinum boy's hand, bringing him down and whispering in his ear.

He looked shocked for a moment, scanning the restaurant before catching sight of them himself.

It must have been weird seeing the 2 well known adults staring at the much younger girl. He shoved the shoulder of his raven haired friend, whispering something that was then passed on to the others.

Without a glance from anyone else they all walked out of the restaurant. None of them looking back.

After exiting the glass door they turned sharply to the right continuing down the street.

The 2 adults broke their abnormally long and slightly creepy eye lock on the girl.

She looked so familiar.

There was no way that it was her.

They made eye contact for the slightest second before standing up abruptly and rushing out of the restaurant in hopes of catching up to the group, to the girl.

The whip of the wind could be heard due to the speed of the door swinging open. They looked around the street and checked the allies to the right of the cafe. But the group had seemingly disappeared.

They were confused, were they seeing things?

No, that wasn't right.

They tried to shrug off the feelings and multiple thoughts running through their heads.

It wasn't possible, that wasn't her.

She was gone.
