Lee's car pulls in front of our house and I get out.
"Your shoes!" Liam says and I turn around to look looking at him.
"Never mind, I'll just bring them." he says. "Good boy." I say winking before turning around and walking through our front door and heading upstairs to find out if Art and Chris are still there, which they are. They're laying there laughing at something before I walk in and Art immediately looks concerned.
"Are you okay? What happened?" she asks getting off the bed approaching me and Chris sits up.
"Yeah, I'm okay, why?"
"Well, you look kind of messy, I mean your makeup is ruined and your hair-" she stops as Liam walks in carrying the bags filled with shoeboxes.
Well, this definitely isn't awkward.
Art's eyes move between me and Lee and I shift uncomfortably.
"Chris and I were just about to go downstairs to get something to eat, right Chris?"
"Yeah, let's go." Chris agrees with my best friend and they exit the room. I punch Liam in the arm.
"You fucking asshole."
"What was that for?" he asks me putting down the boxes before rubbing a hand over the arm I punched.
"You could have fucking told me I look like I was attacked by a raccoon." I say looking at the small mirror that hangs by the desk in my room. Art was right, my foundation smudged, my mascara is runny and if my nude lipstick were red I would look like Harley Quinn. I pick up a detangling brush in attempt to tame the absolute mess that is my hair as Liam sits down on my bed looking extremely proud of himself.
"I thought you knew." he says with fake innocence and I glare at him as I struggle with my hair. I decide to wash the makeup off my face put on a bucket hat and heading downstairs with Liam following me.
We walk into the kitchen where both our best friends are and it immediately becomes silent. The energy changes from care-free and joyous to absolutely awkward.
"What are we eating?" Lee asks in what I assume is his way of breaking the awkward silence.
"Well, see me and Chris ordered a pizza, but YOU," Art says emphasising the word you, "You are having Tommy." she says and I choke and air and I let out a series of coughs.
"Jeezus, Art." I say and Chris and Liam laugh. Why does Artemis look mad at me?
"You good?" I ask and she puts a hand on my wrist before pulling me out of the kitchen and into the bathroom closing the door behind us.
"Why didn't you tell me?" she asks me in a whiny, child-like voice and I smile at my best friend.
"It literally JUST happened." I tell her.
"I don't care when it did, you should have texted me right after." she insists and I sigh.
"I needed a chance to catch my breath after having two orgasm in a matter of minutes." I tell her and she screams in such a high frequency I swear I saw the bathroom window crack.
"Tell. Me. Everything." she says sitting down on the toilet.
"You know he's like 5 meters away from us, right?" I raise an eyebrow at her but she just waves me off, "It's not like he doesn't know what we're talking about." she says. "You make a fair point but I cannot risk him hearing us talk about it." She sighs loudly out loud before saying "Fine, we'll talk about it later." drawing out the 'fine' and pointing an index finger at me.
