I will now cover the weapons!
First of all, stop with the knives :)
This is literally overused! I know this is the kind of weapon everyone has and can get easily but stop! Be creative! There are a lot of different objects you can use as weapons!
Stop using weapons already used by other characters! Don't make your OC have a specific weapon just to look like or be closer to an already existing character. (I'm looking at you, Jeff and EJ kinnies!)
Things to avoid:
-Knives.
-Scalpel. There are other surgical tools you can use that are cooler than this one. Do some research.
-Tendrils/Tentacles. STOP WITH THAT OKAY? THIS IS ANNOYING. Outside of the Derman brothers, I don't want to see anymore OCs with their tendrils/tentacles! Even if your OC has a reason to have them, this is just cringe. STOP.
-Powers without a good reason. No human or creature has powers without a reason for them.
-Poisoned candy. Stop!
-Driving the victim to insanity or suicide. This could be a good idea but it's starting to get overused.
Things that you can do:
-Construction equipment like power drills, screwdrivers and many others!
-Broken glass. Not used enough.
-Poison. Not poisoned candy but poison in general.
Be creative. The human species is weak and can die easily so be creative with your weapon!
Powers are okay as long as they respect your OC species and as long as there is a good reason for them to have those powers. Also don't make them overpowered! They need limits and weaknesses!
