I glanced at you the other day, and I saw your smile.
It lighted up the room, and ignited a fire in my heart,
Your smile is the embodiment of beauty - not that I notice.
This morning, I heard your laugh,
And my heart felt like warm butter sliding down hot toast.
Your eyes seemed to be laughing too - not that I noticed.
This afternoon, you walked by me,
And I swear I felt the butterflies flutter around in my stomach.
Your hand brushed against mine for a single moment, and your skin was as soft as silk - not that I noticed.
Today, just like every other day, I waited for every opportunity I had just to see your face,
Just to stare into your bewitching hazel eyes longingly.
Today, I fell even further down the rabbit hole.
Today, I knew I was in love,
Today, I noticed.
