Cell 13 was woken up with a bang as Hajime kicked the door open, "Get your asses up and to breakfast" he said before abruptly leaving. Three of the four inmates groaned, yet only two sat up. Nico and Rock said their good mornings before quickly being angrily shushed by Uno. They both looked over to see Jyugo snuggled into his chest, arms wrapped around each other and an angry-looking Uno staring at them from over his shoulder. Rock and Nico looked at each other, giggled then proceeded to quietly get dressed into their usual attire before heading to breakfast; as well as letting Hajime know that the other two would be a bit late because Jyugo had trouble getting to sleep.
They walked down the halls, giggling and gossiping about the relationship between their friends; they sat down to eat, and halfway through the meal Uno walked in carrying a half-asleep Jyugo on his back. He put down Jyugo before sitting down next to the half-asleep male, "What are you guys talking about" he said before taking a big bite of his food. "Nothing important," the two said before rock asked," you two seem very close" causing Jyugo and Uno's faces to turn a deep red and Nico to laugh at their reactions. The fun was only short-lived as they soon finished up their meals then headed to the workshop that they were assigned to for the day.
Once they got there though, they found Hajime waiting for them. "Okay before you start, I have an announcement" he started, this piqued the inmate's interest as he rarely announced anything. "Since you have been a lot more well behaved recently, the warden has decided to give you one thing of your choice". Nico immediately burst out in excitement as the hyper kid he is, and Hajime quickly calmed him down. "I expect you to think about what you would like and to tell me at the end of the workshop, sound good" the four nodded their heads and began their work.
Soon it was the end of the workshop and the four knew what they each wanted, so they went up to Hajime and told him then left for lunch. Jyugo wanted a book series, Uno wanted a sketchbook with supplies and Nico wanted the manga series he had been wanting for a while. It was only Rock left but he hadn't said anything, Hajime looked up to see a slightly embarrassed-looking Rock who quietly said "would I be able to get a violin and if it is allowed being able to play on the rooftop." Hajime was very surprised at the request because Rock was the last person he would have guessed to want a violin. "A violin sure but I will have to check with the warden about getting access to the rooftop," with that said they both left the room Rock to the cafeteria and Hajime to the Wardens office.
TIMESKIP
It had now been a week when cell thirteen had been informed that what they had asked for had arrived. As Hajime handed out the objects one by one, they all seemed content with what they got. Rock was handed a sleek black case which he took to his futon which was situated in the far corner of the room. He opened the case and his breath was caught in the back of his throat, inside the case was the most beautiful violin he had ever set his eyes upon.
He ran his fingers over the polished body of the violin, the nostalgic feeling bringing tears to his eyes. He looked up at Hajime with pleading eyes practically begging him to let him go to the rooftop and play Hajime gave a small nod and stepped out from the door frame as to say 'go ahead'. Rock excitedly closed the case and briskly walked out the door, heading to the roof.
Hajime was following him, but he was too excited to feel the bow against the strings to even notice. It was a couple of minutes until sunset so he would be able to play through it. He opened the case, lifted the violin out of its spot, brought it to his neck, and did a little bit of a warmup. He hadn't touched a Violin for years, so he needed to get used to the feel of the strings again. Hajime was staring blankly at the inmate as he pulled the bow back and forth across the strings blindly playing random notes. That's when he took the violin away from his neck and cracked the fingers on his left hand before bringing it back to his neck, taking a deep breath, closing his eyes, and letting his fingers fly across the strings.
Soon he was dancing across the rooftop feeling the happiest he had been in a long time. Hajime was standing at the door of the roof stunned frozen at the talent of the man in front of him. He could practically feel the happiness radiating off him as he played. The first song he wrote himself and was very proud of it, it was probably his favorite song to play.
he kept playing till it got dark where under the light of the full moon put the violin back into its case and headed back to his cell to get some sleep. He walked past the frozen Hajime but paid no mind to him as he was still feeling giddy from being able to play the violin again.

I wrote this cause I heavily headcanon it lmao. I also love the idea of him being musically talented. I wrote this right after I had to record my friend playing bass for a school assessment, so I was riding a weird kind of high.
