Kaitou Joker - Into the Past

Chapter 2

Joker, Dump, and Captain Blue climbed the wall as they landed on the green grass. "Let's hurry-" Dump said, as the two nodded their heads.

Meanwhile, Shadow just finished hitting the 27th knight that came running at him and his sister. "Let's get going Rose!" Shadow yelled at his sister. Rose nodded her head, as she throwed a jar at the last knight standing. "Okay Oni-chan!" Rose said as she happily grabbed her brother's hand.

"You kids shouldn't be causing so much chaos-" The owner of the cart Ontier, Phoenix and Lupin were riding, said. "We didn't though-" Phoenix said quietly. "Where are your parents?" the guy asked. "Um- they are somewhere here-" Ontier said, trying to limit eye contact. "Alright, where you need to go?" the guy asked. "To the gate please," Lupin said politely. "Alright-" The guy said.

"Looks like we're here first-" Joker said, as he sat down on a log. "Yup- we just wait-" Dump said, relaxing on the grass. "So, why did those knights chase us?" Joker asked. "Well-" Captain Blue began. "I placed an advance notice that I would steal these clothes and all- I managed to get the clothes, but it looks like the knights don't know how Kaitou's work-" Captain Blue explained. "Oh-" Joker said, as Dump sighed. "I don't even know if Kaitou's existed at this time-" he said. 

"Well, you guys got out fast." Shadow said, as he and Rose walked towards them. "We just need to wait for yawning jerk, Ontier and Lupin-" Joker said.

"Here we are-" the guy said. "Thank you so much, good sir." Lupin said smiling. "Alright-" the guy said. Ontier, Phoenix and Lupin hopped off the cart, as the guy drove his cart away. "Let's hurry-" Ontier said.

"Finally- what took so long?" Shadow asked. "We rode a cart!" Phoenix said happily, like a little kid. "That sounds so cool!" Rose said. "Alright- what now?" Ontier asked. "

"Well- Joker, you were supposed to say something earlier? Regarding the written paper?" Lupin asked.

"Yeah- well, when I stole the Revi necklace- I also stole something else-" Joker said. 

"Something else?" Captain Blue asked.

"Yeah, whoever is stuck in the necklace, told me to steal this ring." Joker said, revealing the ring. "Apparently- when I inspected it on my way back to apologize, I saw an old paper crumpled inside. It was a map- a map of the world back then- And in the map, it was indicated the location of the King's part of the crown." Joker said.

"No kidding-" Ontier said, as she held Muff in her hands.

"Yeah- and a note- signed by the Magician dude himself. It was in olden language as well- but I managed to translate it- it read 'Once you find the King's crown, find my note, which will lead you to the next one- be careful'-" Joker said.

"So-" Shadow began. "You were supposed to find the King's part of the crown first? But, you got the Butler's Prison first?" Shadow said. 

"Yeah, apparently." Joker said. "I have no idea why whoever is in the necklace, said that I should steal the Butler's Prison first-" Joker stated.

"Weird." Lupin said.

"I wonder why-" Rose said.

"We still need to find the magician-" Phoenix said, out of the blue.

"We should get ready for the night first- And we can bother about the magician tomorrow-" Dump said, as he stood up. "Dump's right- I'm tired"  Ontier murmured. 

"Alright then- let's go ahead and step up a camp?" Captain Blue said.

"Question is, does anyone know how to step up a camp?" Shadow asked.

Pure silence followed after. "Well- looks like no one knows how-" Ontier said.

"I don't know why we traveled to the past, if we aren't prepared to be in the past!" Shadow said, as he sat down on the ground.

"Our image gum is about to run out-" Joker said. "We should put on the clothes Captain Blue stole-" Lupin suggested. As if on que, the image gum popped and everyone was in their normal outfits.

"I don't think we need to change- but whatever-" Shadow said, as he grabbed a black looking coat from Captain Blue.

"Tomorrow, we go exploring. There must be other structures or places we haven't been too. Maybe the Magician is there. Or whoever else made the Ith Crown." Joker said, slipping the red vest on.
