You sat in your first class the next day. Sitting at the back and trying not to draw attention to yourself. 'That's pointless. Your face is on Time magazine. You're going to be noticed eventually.'

The professor walked in. He wrote his name on the board as Professor Hughs. He started the lesson instantly. "You are in Criminal Psychology. You all better learn to take notes quickly because future jobs will not twiddle their thumbs while they wait for you to give them answers. I don't waste time; So don't waste mine." He started his lecture, diving right in. "We're going to jump right into a debate; Nature vs Nurture."

You couldn't help raising your hand. He raised a brow at you. "Yes, Miss?..."

You hesitated before saying your first and last name. The entire class errupted in whispers and you lowered your hand with a frown. The professor however looked at you in interest. "Ah, the Woodsboro Massacre Survivor. And why are you taking this class?"

"Because I want to figure out what went wrong, Sir. And I was wondering if it's possible to be neither?"

He raised a brow and folded his arms. "And why do you wonder that? It has to be one or the other."

"I don't think it's always the case. I mean...Mr. Macher and Mr. Loomis both came from well off, normal families and had everything they could ever want. From what I saw, no one else in their families ever had these tendencies. I know Billy was known to be a good guy until...His mom left. It's like once that happened, he snapped."

The professor pointed at you with an engaged smile. "Ah, that's another clause. Psychotic Breakdowns. Most of the time, there was some level of nature to this case; Some underlying cause to make it happen. However, the human brain can only handle so much stress before it snaps...For all of us." He wrote a few notes on his board. "Did you know, it's more likely to be a sociopath than it is to have green eyes? " He turned to the class as they looked to each other. "That's right. Anyone in this room could be a person with sociopathic or even Psychotic tendencies. You'll learn more about that in your statistics for social science courses."

A girl across from you scoffed under her breath. "Yeah, she's sitting right there."

You bristled, clenching the table before the Professor looked at her. "Excuse me, Miss Smith. Do you have something you would like to share with everyone?"

She looked up and around herself before giving a nervous smile. "Well, it's even in Gale's book that she's accused of being involved. How can you be friends with two crazy freaks and not be?" She looked to other students for confirmation. A few nodded, most simply stared back at you as you prepared yourself to leave the class.

"OUT."

You all quickly looked to the professor who pointed at the door. The girl looked at him in outrage. "What? Are you serious-"

He pointed to the door. "OUT. NOW. If you are willing to judge a fellow student on rumors from some desperate reporter then you aren't fit to be in my class. We need people that can be logical and steadfast. That is not you, Miss Smith. Other people's lives will be in your hands one day and one single bad judge of character can have an innocent person in prison or death row. This isn't a crime drama you watch on the lifetime channel...Now, Leave."

She sat there a moment in shock before grabbing her bags and shaking her head with a huff. Glaring at you before leaving. You stared at the professor who nodded at you and you nodded back with soft smile as he continued his lesson.

You completed the class, feeling engaged in a group for the first time in a while. A few students even came up to you to tell you how brave you were for what you went through and wanted to hear everything about Billy and Stu and your group of Highschool friends. You went to leave when Professor Hughs stopped you.
