The day

It's 8.30, when Peter and I are getting ready for training with my parents. We both fill our drink bottles on the way and when we step into the training room, we are greeted by a knife flying past both of our heads and landing in the bullseye I didn't notice to my right. Mum walks over to retrieve the knife and gives us instructions to start warming up. Peter starts with some stretches whilst I take a light jog around the training mat. Dad joins me and he starts telling me a story about the time he and Bucky were running when they were both called for an army job. I ignore him because I have heard this story too many times. Both Peter and I start on the floor, doing basic fighting poses, and learning how to take someone down if our hands are tied behind our backs. Mum demonstrated on Dad and even though he's a super soldier she takes him down as if he was a small twig. He gets up as if he was an old man sore from being taken out, and Mum just playfully hits his arm and laughs at him. The rest of the training session goes past in a blur because slowly I'm getting more and more tired from training hard.

Around 10.30, I find Bucky cleaning his room. I flop onto his bed exhausted from my previous training sessions. He joins me on his bed, currently pausing his clean up. I move beside him and we fall asleep there till Mum comes and wakes us because she is making me come out for lunch with her. She drives to our favourite pasta restaurant in downtown New York. We sit outside to watch the world go by as we eat, and because Mum has a thing with indoors and security cameras. At first I think she's brought me here to have "the talk" because we never have lunch together, but turns out she wanted to tell me about Dad and Bucky going on a mission for a few months in the new year. I'm fine with that to be honest because Dad seems to never be home anyway. Our pasta comes moments later, I've ordered my favourite, creamy fettuccine with parmesan cheese on top. When we finish lunch, Mum gets a call from Stark that she has a mission she needs to attend to. Mum drives me back to the compound before she drives upstate. I text Peter to see what he's up to.

Peter is outside playing football with Morgan when we pull up to the compound. Little Morgan has the ball and it's nearly as big as her small 2 year old body. Peter scoops her up in his arms and meets us outside the front door. He puts Morgan in my arms and I take her inside for a nap. Peter tells me to meet him in our room in 5 minutes, so we can play video games. We normally have school when Morgan naps but today is special because we have finished school for the year. Most of the time we finish early December but this year we've finished early November. Once I put Morgan down I join Peter in our room,

"Hey, do you want to play Minecraft or something else?" Peter asks

"Umm, let's play minecraft, we can finish our treehouse build." I say. Peter and I play minecraft for a few hours until Morgan wakes. Then we head to the kitchen for an afternoon snack.

By three, Pepper has taken Morgan to see her grandparents and everyone else is either out of town or on a mission. Peter and I have the whole compound to ourselves. We start with eating all the chocolate chip cookies left in the cookie jar in the kitchen. Then we decided to blast music at full volume and dance around our bedroom. Afterwards, we made the biggest blanket fort in the living room. It started on the couch and had prime viewing to the TV, then it moved to under the dining room table. The last bit was by the window so we could spy on people outside. Once we had had our fun everyone was home from missions and going to their personal quarters to cook themselves dinner and wind down for the day.
