Peters POV:

When Captain Marvel flew back down from space and told us that Anna won't come home, my heart shattered. Nat broke down and Steve started crying. Bucky was very quiet and left soon after. I didn't know if I was ready to face my life without Anna, I just hope that she misses me already and hopes that she will be able to come home very soon. She has to come home, I can't live without her smile or her laugh. I can't live with the fact that there will be no more late night movies together or we won't get to eat breakfast together each morning. She has to come home right?

10 years later- Peters POV:

I was in the kitchen of my apartment at the compound putting 25 candles on a cake for Anna's birthday. It's been 10 years since she left with Captain Marvel and never came home again. I hear a knock on the door and assume that Nat and Steve are here to celebrate with me. When I open the door someone rushes at me and throws their arms around me. I know this smell, the feel of their hair between my fingers. Anna. She pulls out of the hug and looks at me. She's grown since she's left and is now basically the same height. Nat and Steve come through my sliding door and Nat drops the food she was holding and bursts into tears when she sees who is standing in the threshold. Anna runs over and gives her Mum a massive hug and her dad joins in. I grab the cake and put it on the table giving them space for their reunion. I realise that I never stopped loving Anna and I hope she feels the same way.
