Bright lights

My arm is sore and there is a bright light above me. The blanket on me is scratchy and I have cold feet. I open my eyes to find myself in the compound infirmary. By the light outside it seems to be the middle of the night. Peter is in a bed next to me softly snoring. His injuries look less worse than mine as he has less bandages, I attempt to sit up and are stopped by retraits. Confusion takes over as Stark walks in with Mum and Dad in tow.

"Why am I being restrained?" I say, my throat is scratchy after not drinking water for a while.

"You are being restrained until Captain Marvel can teach you how to use your powers safely." Stark says.

"But I don't have powers," I say.

"That radiation in that bullet you got shot with created them," Stark fills me in. Powers, but still I have no idea how to use them so why restrain me?

"Why am I restrained though?" I ask.

"Because you woke up, about 3 days ago, got up and destroyed half of my lab accidentally," Stark says.

"Oh, I don't remember doing that, sorry." I apologize.

"We figured you were dreaming" Mum suggests. Right, dreaming.

Both Peter and I are let out of the infirmary 2 weeks later, almost both fully healed. Captain Marvel comes down from space to teach me how to use my powers since she knew the kind of aliens we destroyed and how their powers worked. Bucky slept in mine and Peter's room for a few weeks in case I woke abruptly and started shooting things unintentionally.
