Chapter 3 - OUR childhood

( Yahooo! This is Espresso and Madeleine's childhood part 1) -The two's meeting

Third Person POV/Madeleine's POV:

"Hey!" A woman with a black haired child( idk what color essy has before he dyed it, so black it is) waved to another woman.

Oh hey! And you also brought your son with you! My mother waved back to the woman who was waving at her.

Yeah, he said he's bored inside so I brought him with me to perhaps be friends with your son! The woman told my mom.

Oh! That's a great idea!
My mom said that with sparkles in her eyes and then turned at me.

She then lift me up and the boy to the playground.

"Hey, Maddie sweetie.
Play with Espresso for a while, ok? It's a mission..!"
She whispered to me.
I gasp then nodded three times to accept the mission.
My mom gave me a soft laugh and then smiled at me "I'll be counting on you sweetie!"
Then she walks away to talk with the woman.

I turned to the boy, he has pure black hair which was covering his eyes.
I immediately said Hi and he hesitated to answer back.
I gently grab his arm to shake it, he look shocked I did that but he let me do it.

My name is Madeleine!
What's yours, friend?
I asked the boy who was wearing black hair.
I didn't really expect an answer since he didn't say hi back.

Uh uhmm..E-espresso..
The boy said.

Woah! That's a nice name!
Espresso!
'It was really a nice name.'
I said that in my thought

Espresso went red and hide his remaining unhidden part of his face.

Uh, are you okay friend?
Are you nervous?
I asked worriedly to my new friend.

He nodded.
I never heard anybody except my mom said my name is nice before.
He nervously answered my question

Well!
I'm the first one to say your name is nice and awesome!
And don't be nervous friend!
I don't bite!
I told him.

He was crying happy tears.
And I panicked because I might get in trouble so I hugged him, but it only got worse.!

Uh, friend don't cry!
We both might get in trouble!
I panicked

He nodded then hugged back.
He was warm like my favorite teddy!

He slowly pushed away then looked the opposite way.

I grabbed his hand
'Let's play together Espresso.!'

I slightly saw his eyes it was...
Beautiful.
I felt my heart go boom boom for a second.( boom boom skida boop boop).

We played, laughed , teased, and had fun.
Then I got really curious what he looked like without the annoying bangs, and yep I saw his eyes. Eyes only tho.
So I asked him to let me see his face fully.
He hesitated but agreed, he let me do it.
'Promise me you won't laugh at me?' Espresso told me and I nodded as a response.

I slowly brushed his bangs to reveal a really............Pretty face.. I gasped really loud.
He got shocked too.

Y-your so.....Pretty!!
I told him while he looked at surprised I said that.

I will marry you when we grow up! We will have a grand wedding and everyone is invited! I said while having a light red blush on my face.

He looked like a tomato when I said that.
Y-you pr-promise?
He stuttered

Mhm! You ARE the prettiest person in the entire earthbread!
I said proudly then he really got red like more red than a tomato.
I kissed him on the cheek hearing a small gasp from him. His eyes sparkles from that.

[Time later, when they are gonna get home]

Bye bye, bestfriend!
I waved bye to my new best friend.

He didn't say anything but he did waved bye to me too!

Mom! Mom!
I called down to mom

Yes, sweetie?

Im gonna marry him one day when we grow up!
He'll be the most prettiest bride in the entire earthbread and I will take care of him really good!
I told her that I was gonna
marry Espresso

She softly laughs
Okay okay, I can't stop you can I?
She asked me

Nope!
My mind is decided I will marry him one day!
I answered full of confidence

Alright, I will support you with anything you wanna do!
The divine grace will watch upon you too!
She told me she will support me,no matter what!

Also mom!
Espresso turned into a tomato when I said that im gonna marry him.
Is that normal?
I asked mom

Hehe, Of course you will turn into a tomato when you bond with your loved one!
She answered

So that's why he's a tomato!
I will be a tomato for him too!.
I told mom

Hehe!

Mom really is pretty and kind but Espresso is more prettier! and sweeter!
